anyone remember SCAMPS, nightclub or TIFFANYS that use to be under the victoria centre, in nottingham those were the days, and these are the tunes. love em for ever.
@natashacliff WOW! Yea,..I remember SCAMPS Nightclub. The one I used to got to was in Chatham, Kent. SCAMPS was tucked away in the corner of a newly built shopping centre called, 'The Pentagon'. You had to be 18 to get in and I was only 17 when I started going there so faked my age, like we all did. Ah....happy days and memories listening to great disco music.
@Nunsweepit421 I was a mobile DJ going to clubs, pubs, weddings, etc, I was 19 I had the gear, my mate was 20, he had the van! I think we did Scamps in the summer of 1977 I remember it was a balmy night and everyone had a great time! If you remember 8 banks of traffic lights and bubbles, with lasers in the second half - that was us - Revolver 45 disco!
Oh yes Taintedbear you are so right, so so right, were has the funk and soul gone from the music.. this track bring so many memories of london in 1981/82 samanthas Disco, chic's in Kings Rd ,,,,,,:)
