I was personaly disapointed by starfox assault. Theres only a 1-way in the story unlike starfox 64 and the graphic arent as good as in starfox adventure, the starwolf battle was too easy but i do admit the multiplayer mode was really great and the controls very good.

Adventures wasn't originally planned to be a star fox game. Assault was a bit repeatative, but had to ive credit to it's music score and graphics, especially the space scenes.

I sort've agree, Starfox is about flying through the level, blasting a bunch of bad guys, watching your buddy's backs, pullin off a few barrel rolls, and fighting a bigass boss in the end, usually in all range mode. Command wasn't all that bad it made SF a bit more interesting but I'd prefer the original SF tradition.

I am not sure how many people know this, but Adventures originally was never intended to be a Starfox game. When part of the developed game was shown to the Nintendo execs for approval, one of them commented how a character looked liked Fox, so everyone saw an opportunity to sell more copies by converting over. Sales is the bottom line afterall.
