i'm a mechanic and that doesn't sound anything like the magnum v6, even with an aftermarket exhaust system it wouldn't sound like that. definitely a v8.
i'm just gonna go ahead and guess that's a 4.7 or 5.7 cuz of the way it sounds, how willingly it revs, and the rpm it revs to. the 3.7 shifts at 5500, the 4.7 and 5.7 shift higher. i counted about 7 seconds to sixty, my stock 5.7 regular cab isn't much faster than that...but if it really is a 3.7 i sound like an idiot right now
That really is a 3.7L. i got a truck with that same engine exect mine is a 5 speed manual single cab. i tried it recently and it does do a pretty good job. if any one could give me a lesson on downshifting please write me back
besides isnt the V6 a 3.9L not a 3.7? then the 4.7 then the 5.2(318) then the 5.9(360) i know they stopped making the 318 after like 2000 or something

That is a V8, sounds nothing like a 6 cyl. V8s have a very distinct sound from V6s, 6 cyl engines tend to have a very whiney screaming sound.

yes that is a v6 I have a 07 dodge and its a 4 door auto and it can do that i have the video on my cell phone but dont know how to get it on here

yea it did sound like a v8 at first. but then it slowed down after 60 and the 4.7 doesnt do that lol

Nah man its a V6. I recently got a Dodge Ram 1500 Reg Cab 2 door 3.7L V6 and it does accelerate that fast. I tried it myself. :P
