Very nice! :D I just got the game yesterday and after I tried W.Len I totally fell in love with her <3 Illusions and snow/ice = best combination xD
Other characters I might want to learn would be Nanaya (i love speed so his 22a = win), Ciel (speed again) and Kohaku (one just have to love her). Kouma seems to be cool as well, but I couldn't land more then 1 hit in the air o,ô
Miyako is cool but too hard for me. Anyhow, thanks for the tutorial, I'll train with Len and try not to disgrace her ^^
No, she's actually one of the worst characters in the game.
One of the reasons I made this video was because she's really bad, and nobody really knew how to play her. So I chose to highlight her strengths in the latter portion of the video.
Lol this is anything but tytorial. This video has extremely advanced techinques that a noobie cant use even at his wildest dreams and are very hard to even for the average player... I can give though that you did a REALLY good job making this vid. I cant imagine that can beat your W.Len really.I just cant :D
I don't usually respond to old comments but i have to correct you.
Nothing in the video is too terribley advance, i'm not a W.Len player so i can't do these exact moves but they're fairly simple inputs that someone in the higher beginner class can do.
I'm considered as a high-ish beginner and nothing in the video looked hard at all to me.
but there's two things that you mentioned that i could not find the meaning to. that is, MB's "Meter cancel" and "dj." Could you explain this? Thanks.
dj is just double jump, but I'm not sure what you mean by meter cancel. If it's ex cancel, it means that the move's recovery frames can be cancelled into an EX(super) move. 236[a] is ex cancellable, so one of the throw setups in the video was 236[a] ex cancelled into her EX command throw 624c.
Oh sorry, I have one question since I'm kind of a beginner...>_> What does the number in a bracket mean? Dash cancel? Like when you're showing her two different dashes: 66 and 6[6].
AWESOME !

Oh man, the "Senshikidan ohgi!" was a nice touch. The first time I saw 236[a] I thought of CSE as well.

very helpful, thank you! it is a very nice representation of love
just some typos:
at 2:13 should be "2a4b" not "2a4c"
at 2:18 should be "2a4b" not "2a4c"

yeah i think a ddl version with high quality would be nice choice

Do you have an AVI version of this video? It would be much easier via my media player than trying to practice the moves via YouTube.

You could always try Vixy, even if it's not always reliable...

How about iad? I understand what it refers to, at least. The super-low-to-the-ground-air-dashes. However, what does it stand for?
BoneBeastKimimaro 3 years ago
IAD = Instant Air Dash

Funny thing, I found that out like yesterday, haha. Thanks though, appreciate the thought.

Thanks and sorry for bothering.
shadowzero6 4 years ago
the [6] means you hold on to the direction... so 66 would have you go back to neutral after inputting the dash, and 6[6] would have you hold on to 6.

Ah, okay, thanks.

I think we can all agree that this is one epic tutorial. Awesome combos, man, especially since you were able to pull off 8 minutes of them ^.^
