But we have to understand that War was, and not so long ago an instrument, if not the instrument, that we, Mankind, with no one out, that we had to get an hand on for survival purposes. War as we conceive it and know it, is loosing its purpose and aplicability, but new forms of violence, are rising with new risks, new actors, different objectives.(3)
Naurally we all feel that we should, and if possible we should, change the world and its forces' correlations over night. But that is impossible. Yet we have to change it as soon as it is possible. Just to timescale events, allow me to mention the speech of Martin Luther King and the core of its message having its zenith with President Obama's election. No doubt, it was a long, long time for those who lived through it. But at humanity scale it was a tiny little fraction of our existence.(2)
Peace and Poverty are very dear issues to me. Humanity have travelled a long way until today as the journey we have ahead is endless. Every day that goes by, was a time frame were positive and less positive things were done towards a Peacefull, noble, equitable, fair and juste world. It is unavoidable. The aim is that the positive would overcome the less positive even if for a tiny and indinitesimal margin. If that happens, then the balance was positive and the sum of those little bits count.(1)

Cristinadreamer I wish sometimes that would be true, sadly there are those who have power who do not share the same views.
There are many people in authority with the two faces of Janus so greed, hate and racism lead us into many war situations that could be avoided.
Somehow these people gain power and use it to incite and create hate, lies and injustice and even some of the judges are corrupt and unjust.
Unless we remove power from the corrupt real peace, I doubt will not be achieved.
