Wavves has inspired me so fucking much. I have been spending so much time applying poeticism and a rich cadence to my prose, hoping to apply such wondrous works over a magnificent modal jazz piece - then Wavves showed me you could just get high, play three muddy chords (off-tempo), and sing about getting high (off-key), and everybody loves it!

In all seriousness though, this band is a guilty pleasure, it must be the vibe, because I can't find anything redeeming out of this slop, but I LOVE it.

These guys are hacks. I don't get why everybody is so excited over them. Sure, they're raw, but they lack the intelligence/charm of other great lo-fi bands. Just look at this little squirt. I sure hope it takes more than this.

what do you mean, what do i mean? he doesn't use any pedals to make his sound fuzzy or anything he isn't that great at singing witch isn't a the worst thing. don't get me wrong his albums are good but he isn't so good live.

He records in lo-fi. Of course it's going to sound fuzzy. It's a style and of course that's going to sound different live.

it's cool man. i mean i'm in a band called fungi girls we are a noise pop band and we played with wavves he really isn't that good live. i have seen a couple of video's of him playing some songs alright. not hating on wavves i guess but i'm just disappointed.
