  • I also recommande Cziffra,Samson Francois, Perahia and Sokolov on this sonata^^

  • ...I was just listening to Rafal Blechacz doing this, with the reaction "fuck, this is nowhere"...Evgeny here is surely somewhere, rarely does this movement sound quite this wild, really puts his virtuosic foot down in more ways than...somewhat disheveled playing like he was on something, very Russian...

  • What emotion, passion Kissin has for this, one of Chopin's most difficult works

  • Kissin is one the few real virtuosos left...

  • The opening chords are a little fast, but he plays this sonata like no one else. The pedaling is superb and masterful. I feel emotionally in my heart he is playing this piece as it should be played and how I would like to play it if I had his talent and technique. When he played this sonata in Japan at 13 years old he still played it better than most pianists twice his age....

  • great playing, momentum, reminds me of Argerich or Richter

  • Impressive!!! Probably the most impassioned and virtuoso version yet heard... This is where Kissin is at his best. Favorited without question.

  • Simply incredible!!

  • I want to kiss him.
