Im a telecoms engineer with experience in VSAT terminals. I´d like to work for Schlumberger. Is it true you guys work one month on (hardcore) and one off? How much do u guys make a month?

in algeria we work 6/3, working 6 weeks and 3 weeks days off, i don't know how much do they make a month cause i'm juste a summer trainee, but you can contact the recruitment service.

nobody works equal rotation at slb. This lot always want blood out of a stone. Not the best company to work for. If you want equal rotation, better pay, treated like a human being, go and work for Halliburton, BJ, Baker, Weatherford.

not everyone works 6/3 it depends on the location you are at for example in kuwait you work the whole year with only 62 days off.

in Nigeria you work 4 weeks and off 4 weeks in indonesia you work 8 weeks and 3 weeks off. Location is what makes the difference, some places are unbearable whereas other places are quite nice to live in.

Try to not go to Libya, I spent 3.5 years in Libyan desert, bonus is high but there is no life at allllllllllll.
