I think the developed, tall skyscraper, L.A. Live part of downtown is the most beautiful in Los Angeles. Who would think suburbs are beautiful???? I do not see beauty in dirty suburbs. Even if it were clean, there's just no excitement. Broadway in dt is disgusting tho... All those mexicans make it feel and look like Tijuana... They're hogging those historic theaters.. Broadway has potential but mexicans don't want the area cleaned and developed.

Ive lived here for 19 years born and raised. Downtown L.A nowadays is pretty safe. The only places bad stuff usually happens at is in South Central , as of now South L.A , Inglewood, Compton, Watts and some parts of Long Beach. If you have no buisness there then dont go. I currently Stay in Inglewood and yes it can pretty dangerous at times. Tourist attractions over here are a bit of a drag if you ask me.

-the building that was shown to be the tallest in LA was the 777 tower, which is not the tallest. The tallest is the US Bank tower, a couple of blocks over.

Can Anyone tell me what is it like in Los Angeles. I've never been over there before. I'm scared to go over there because I heard that there is a lot of crazy stuff & killing going on 24/7 Downtown & in The Vincinity. What is there to do over there? One of my goals is to go see The Lakers play at The Staples Center.

Ive lived here for 19 years born and raised. Downtown L.A nowadays is pretty safe. The only places bad stuff usually happens at is in South Central , as of now South L.A , Inglewood, Compton, Watts and some parts of Long Beach. If you have no buisness there then dont go. I currently Stay in Inglewood and yes it can pretty dangerous at times. Tourist attractions over here are a bit of a drag if you ask me.

Anywhere but the places i just named. Downtown L.A is cleaning up , theres lots of stuff to do there.You can always go down to Venice or Hollywood . Los Angeles is like my back yard, Ive skated down every block/street/city you can think of, It doesnt even seem that big to me.

Dont move to Los Angeles. I used to live there. Now I live in Grand Junction, Colorado. Much, much nicer. but if your in LA never go to hunnington park, compton, watts, or most of east LA. I lived in a pretty decent area named Downy.

if u gonna live here, dont walk around the streets at night. the longest i stayed in L.A. at night wat untill like 7:00, lol, so dont take any chances staying outside in the streets longer than i did. and im talking about the "bad" part of the city, the inner city is cleaner and safer i guess

Los Angeles is a great city and I bought my condo three years ago and I would never consider living anywhere else. I live near a subway station, a city park, Macy's and a grocery store. My Los Angeles neighborhood is a great place to live.

Dude, you missed some great spots, The Third Largest Basilica in the world, The Biltmore Hotel, The Boneventure Hotel, Bradbury Building, Olvera Street (L.A. roots) they were all about 1 or two blocks from where u were, except Olvera... about 4... The bridges, they are the most famous in the world, due to movies and comercials... i loved that you got CLIFTONS cafeteria in one shot though!!

I've lived Downtown Los Angeles for 11 years. Love it. By the way, I liked your movie. Don't worry your opinion is that of the average tourist. I wasn't offended. It just wasn't accurate in what Downtown Los Angeles offers. Tempature has a lot to do with it.

The building you pointed out wasn't the tallest building in Downtown. You were obviously lost. The life of Downtown is actually inside all the buildings you were passing by. This was obviously your first time in LA. It's hot here. Don't judge the book by it's cover. Stop your car and get out.
It's like driving around a national park and showing people the entire park from your car. The best views are from inside the woods...near the creeks, mountains, streams, and caves.

los angeles is better, new york sucks its full of pot heads, la is funner the only thing is you cant walk around everywhere like in south central la, but some parts of downtown are very nice to walk around in and those are the places you would want to live in anyway.
