  • this song is about dying

  • I am watching this because I am on crack.....

  • @gaz133 so am i ......

  • What's interesting about this song is nearly every country sings it slightly differently. So don't be surprised if this isn't how you remember it going.

  • Ahh! Good memories from A haunting episode: Echoes from the past... This could be a little bit creepy at night... :D xD

  • IMO it means that people are lined up, waiting for the next of the infected with bittersweet pleasantries. The people that are eventually killed by it become incinerated plague corpses.

  • @Magnolianblade No, you're talking about Jack and Jill. Ring around the rosy is about the Holocaust.

  • KORN - SHOOTS AND LADDERS!! LISTEN THAT SONG !!!!

One Man.....Unbeatable Odds......A Cure......Ring-a-Ring-of-Roses Motherfu..... This Summer is about to Get Black!

    .

  • a tishu a tishu! we all fall down...this is not correct!!

  • hwo in the world did this video became viral

  • that song was banned at my school growing up cause its a song that the German kids would sing about the Jewish people during WW2. Ring around the Roses means the Death Camps, pockets full of Posies, means the Germans who are in control of the Jews, Ashes Ashes we all fall down, are the dead Jews who were burned, or died in the showers or by other executions. This song is truly sad. If you don't believe me, look it up on the meaning of this song.

  • Lol, listen KoRn "Shoots and ladders"

  • Three men ? this is sick I showed my niece this and she was subjected to 3 homos

  • When I was 4...

    hasha

    busha all fall....

    DOWN!"

  • wht the hell these arnt even the words to this song!!!

  • i tought that was Ashes,Ashe we all fall down :p

  • @coolez2001 Both are correct

  • What the hell is a-tishoo? It was hush-hush or something like that.

  • @gunchibaiyya A-tishoo refers to violent sneezing and coughing.

Hush-hush is also correct, I think.

"Ashes-ashes" is correct, as well, though it refers to the cremation of the bodies.

  • ok now i want to listen to korns shoots and ladders

  • I always thought it was ring around the rosey

  • the old song actually seemed like it was about a fire and every one died and fell down because the ashes from the fire.think about it and u will get it

  • @choc8rudi its about the black plague so yeah XD

  • This song was actually about the bubonic plague in England. Look it up!

  • MAKE US WHOLE!

  • A rosy rash, they allege, was a symptom of the plague, posies of herbs were carried as protection and to ward off the smell of the disease. Sneezing or coughing was a final fatal symptom, and 'all fall down' was exactly what happened." The line Ashes, Ashes in alternative versions of the rhyme is claimed to refer variously to cremation of the bodies, the burning of victims' houses, or blackening of their skin,

  • this is about the black plague lol

  • Ring a Ring a Roses You Have BLACK DEATH! we all fall down DEAD.... Good Night Children ^^.

  • @StormCOG i know!!!! Its crazy most of our english nursery ryhmes relate to some mass death, racist or cruel thing!! lmao!! Theres the egg whats his name Humptey dude..he fell!! Ring a round a rosies

    A pocket full of possies

    Ashes

    Ashes

    We all fall down!

    Stop changing the song!!!!

  • first there would be like a ring that would show up on you.

people would put posies in their pockets bc the smell of death was so intense.

    ashes for burning the dead.

we all fall down is we all die..

i could never think of that game in the same way after i found this out....

    :(

  • lmao red tube has less veiws that this *cries while laughing hard*

  • our italian version is more different...the words sound cleanest like"round round round end of the world falls down to earth all the earth!" (i used google translate for the lyrics 'cause i'm not so able with english i'm italian!=)

  • @india14100 You're a crazy person. You can't punish people for stuff they don't know is wrong.

  • ring a ring a roses is based on the pladue in tudor times or as most of you might know it "The Black Death" wich was cuased by rats the roses part meant people would get dots the colour of red and black roses posies ment they rubed them on the skin a tishu a tishu ment they would start coughing violently then blood then we all fall down you die

  • DID SHE SAY A TISHUE

AS IN TO BLOWING YOUR NOSE WITH

  • ... Haters gonna hate.

  • When I was 4...

    It was

    "Ring around the rosies,

    Pocket full of posies

    Ashes!

    Ashes!

    We all fall....

    DOWN!"

    ...

  • @Aelita8788 lolz ikr! this was a creepy song

  • @Aelita8788 yeah no kidding, i heard the original words were achoo achoo we all fall down and it developed into ashes ashes. and this is really a sick song. ring around the rosies makes reference to midieval times with the black plague, it left red rings around your eyes and nose. pocket full of posies was to hide the stench of death cause it was everywhere. ashes or achoo or tissue because everyone was gettin infected, we all fall down cause it killed almost everyone. nice kids song.

  • @DaUnforgiven1 I don't know where you got this baseless explanation from. This explanation came into being only about 50 years back without much of a reason. It is sung in wide variety and form in French, Germand and Italian too following the same rhythym and the current form inEnglish is not even the most ancient form for this one.

  • @DaUnforgiven1 That's horrible...I knew there was something wrong about it..I remember when I was younger I was like "Ashes!! Ashes!! And we all fall down!!.....Wait....Ashes? We all fall down?......-_- MOOOOOOM!!!!!!"

  • @Aelita8788 lol no it wasnt, this Nursery rhyme is about the black plague, the Tissue lyric represents ill health (ie sneazing) a ring of roses was something they used to put on your cothin, and the fall down lyric refers to dying.

  • @Aelita8788 yeah, I know! That was only 13 years ago for me.

This is what it REALLY stands for..

ring around a rosie: people with the black plague would get these like round welt like things on them and they had rings around them

pocket full of posy: the people used to think that deamons gave them the illness so they carried posy to rid of evil

ashes ashes: there were so many dead bodies thaey had to burn a lot of them

we all fall down: we all die

    so sad................

  • @DarkBeauty1152 im not 100% on the story of this song but i thought the posy was a flower that they carried in there pocket to get rid of the smell of rotting flesh

  • @DarkBeauty1152 correct babe x

  • @Aelita8788 We didn't have that swimming with the fishes get back up as a zombie stuff.... though I think that would have been extreme for a Four year old.... Oh well I get Nursery Rhymes muddled up anyway I still sing 'Row, row, row, your boat gentlely down the stream, merrly, merrly, Don't for get to Scream!' and all the 5 years old look at me and think "Jesus Retard! thats not the song" (Because 5 year old these days talk like 16 year old gangster nowerdays....)

  • @Aelita8788what country are you in? as its never been that its to do with the black plague as they belived posies in their pockets would stop them getting the plague what idiot thought of that version lol

  • @Aelita8788 IKR!

  • The children had to sing this song when they were led to the altar to get sacrificed. After the sacrifice, their bodies (minus the hearts) were barbecued and eaten up in a ceremonial feast.

  • It's about the children sacrifices of the Azteks.

-"Ring-a-ring-of-roses": The children were adorned with wreathes of flowers before the sacrifice.

-"Pocket full of posies": showers of petals were thrown at the children when they lined up at the altar to be sacrificed.

-"Ashes, ashes": The children were cut up, their hearts ripped out and burnt to ashes in holy fires.

-"We all fall down": the bodies of the dead children were jostled down the stairs of the temple pyramid after the sacrifice.

  • @CaoilteMacRonan Nah. This is the Black Death. Although, I wish you were right. It would've have been sooo much creepier.

But London Bridges is more likely about the children sacrifices.

  • such irony would make even the most twisted mind smile.

  • "ashes, ashes, we all fall down...how ironic."

  • dead space 2 -_-

  • Wazent it Ring around the rosie, Pocket full of posies ashes ashes we all fall down?

  • Then... all of them die D:

  • meeh anyone wanna cam and exchange pIctures then let meh know

  • most people dont know the story behind this song... its actually really sad its about the hollocaust

  • @jbd1989 ..errrr, you mean its about the waves of bubonic and pneumonic plague that swept through europe and killed 20 million people between 1348AD and 1350AD- almost a third of its populace at that time..

  • @obregado18 no no no i mean kikes.

  • @jbd1989 ..well then you are mistaken, since nobody seems to know with any certainty where the nursery rhyme was derived from. however, it certainly appeared well before the holocaust during WWII. it's recorded to have been around as far back as 1790, which would make your interpretation historically impossible.

  • @jbd1989 i find that unlikely since it's a medeival nursery rhyme and the holocaust was in the 1940s...

  • @zimgo jew

  • @jbd1989 nop, catholic :)

  • Let's HOLD HANDS and SING! *-_-*

  • @morikahjo LOL T.T very sad they are crazy

  • I never sent you a request and You were never my friend, I dont even know you

  • me encanta este juego

  • I thought it was ring around the rosies. and ashes ashes we all fall down.

  • @babaloo22222 They changed it because of what that really meant... and what it meant was horrible.

  • @TheBabyRj well what did it mean?

  • @babaloo22222 Im was told it was the black death, "ring a ring a roses" were the little red/black rings people would get on the skin, "pocket full of posies" were a bag of flowers (posies) which they would smell as they thought it would stop them from catching the plague (also like the doctors masks with the beak full of purfumy things), "a tishu a tishu" because people would then start coughing blood and then "we all fall down"...dead...

  • @cheapbuster ..creepy.

  • these ppl don't know how to write hard core songs

  • mii lil sis is in the house screamin da songs in mii ear ouch!!!!!!!

  • Im just stating true facts, your no expert either, you just assume its a myth and its for the children, duh.

  • @Chadrick1210 It's good that you emphasize you're stating "true facts", or else someone might think they're "false facts".

  • @CaoilteMacRonan You know what? Im done with you, I tried to help change your mind, but failed. Just continue your mediocre life that you have convinsed yourself that the Nursery Rhyme, "Ring Around The Roses" Didn't come from the Black Plague. Im not going to waste my time any longer on someone who argues over a Nursery Rhyme.=.='

Oh, and A Merry F&%king Christmas to you! Sayonara!

  • @Chadrick1210 You know what too? Im done with you too, I tried to help change your mind too, but failed too. Just continue your mediocre life that you have "convinsed" yourself that the Nursery Rhyme, "Ring Around The Roses" Did come from the Black Plague. Im not going to waste my time any longer on someone who argues over a Nursery Rhyme too.^.^=:-)°^.--x*some emote*

Oh, and hereby I cancel our friendship. :-P (pwnd u!)

  • @CaoilteMacRonan We Were Never Friends.I Dont Even Know You, Goodbye.

  • @Chadrick1210 But I was your friend, because I am friend to all living things. Happy New Year!

  • Yeah there is, The interpretation is in the highest comments,Try reading for a change. There are different versions because some people believe it's to graphic, hense that it's about the black plague.

  • @Chadrick1210 Actually, the interpretation is no longer in the highest comments and it was bogus anyway.

Btw, how do you know so accurately which version is the "original" one? Are you a folklore expert? Or are you just assuming that the version that suits your hypothesis best is the "original"?

Besides, when the "real" rhyme "got changed" to make it more "suitable for children", then are you implying the "original" nursery rhyme was NOT for children? Then for whom was it? Grown-ups?

  • Serisouly kids are suposed to be watching these. Really??? People on here dropping f-bombs left and right calling each other names. And yet we wonder how kids keep getting worse and worse while being younger and younger!!!

  • @brandicrowson If kids can read this, they are too old for nursery rhymes anyway.

And usually kids get worse and worse while getting older and older.

  • Has nothing to do with the plague. The whole plague thing is nothing more than a myth.
