  • It went out of production now over 40 years ago, and yet the affection for this show lingers and lingers. The warmth for one another among the actors that these photos reveal confirms the hopes that fans have always held, and shared themselves.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. It meant a great deal to see these off the set photos.

  • Thank you very much for all the hard work that you do. I have enjoyed all that you have given us so far. I would really love to see more of the 1840 eipsodes please? Thanks.

  • haha boy the 60's styles! so funny~

  • @burtonrules123 I see nothing "funny" about the styles from the 1960's!

  • that was cool with all the Behind the Scenes :)

  • Thank you Sir for the great pics from the past! I too am a fan and watched when I was 12. Now I am almost 55 and still enjoy seeing the videos. Brings back great memories and of course I believed in vampires then too!

  • I've always had a sofft spot in my heart for Jonathan Frid. Thanks heaps for posting this!! :-)

  • OMG This was so great! Thanks for that nostalgic glimpse of a past time & these wonderful working actors! Yes Time will hold them as they were forever! Great to see a shot of Denise Nickerson in there-she was a child actress I really related to growing up in NJ. I'm sorry she abandoned acting-she was very good. All the best.

I hope some of the cast reads these comments on videos so they know they are still loved!

  • This is good Wendy, I have seen this one , too. I like the scrapbook video as well . My daughter likes the scenes with Josette and Barnabas in them, I think it is because of the romance between them. She is just about my age with i started watching the show in the 60's . Well thanks for the wonder videos , I enjoy watching them.

  • Thanks so much for leading me to this video. Love it.

  • Aren't they lovely, so natural and happy in real life?

  • Highly Entertaining, many thanks!!! 5*****

  • Was that Robert Rodan in the convertible?

  • Yes, that is Mr. Rodan @ 1:42

  • Baron, Dear Baron,

What a wonderful Christmas treat, thank you for an amazing DS vid! The pics of Jonathan at 1:17 and 3:58 are intense. The camraderie of the cast is plain to see, and what fun that must have been to work on that show. What a magical time that was, and it's great that everyone can see it on dvd and youtube. Thank you again for sharing this fantastic video :)!!!!!!

  • @Boadicea25 Thank you so much for your kind words...I am so glad that you enjoyed this! :)

  • You are very welcome, it's an amazing vid and I am sure Barnabas and the gang would be very proud of you :)!!!!!!!!!

  • Dear Baron

I thought I did comment on this video before. Oh well, I think its just awesome m' dear. Love the behind the scenes photos. You always do the research. Hope you and yours have a wonderful 2010 and maybe we will see some of the DS fans in Vancouver for the Winter Olympics.

  • What a joy to see this video and the music is perfect. Thanks for sharing.

  • It's always a joy to see such candid photos. Fine job, Baron! What impresses me most is how the set designers were able to accommodate the beautiful trappings of the two houses and other sets into that nondescript building. From what I've read, it was a former lumber yard, which would account for the loading bay and roll up door. The DS gang were lucky to have their very own studio in that building. The fan graffiti on the bricks is charming. Good for the fans who got these shots for us!

  • Fabulous! Thank you so much!

  • Oh i love it, i love all your videos because no one else has rare pics like you do, Happy Holidays!!!!!!

  • GREEAT! Happy Holidays Baron!
