For high quality sound in your videos, you can record in Traktor and then sync the audio to the video. this can be done easily in iMovie (hahahaha) Syncing audio is almost impossible with windows movie maker. But you can get a free 3 month demo of Sony Vegas, or a demo of Adobe Premiere Pro.
@FileSpnR Any recommendations for syncing audio? I was thinking about it and how in movies they use that clapper thingy so I thought about recording the audio separately and playing some sort of sharp sound with visual feedback to help me sync up.
@spyro303 any easily identifiable sound in both the video and audio, near the beginning, can be used. For starters, start your video with a few hot-cue hits, you will use these to sync. Once in the editor, zoom in to the max level of "zoom in" do a "split" or "cut" on the beginning of the hot-cue(in the video). Then zoom in on the audio & do a split on that same sound. Delete the parts before the cuts, and then move audio and video back to beginning of project.
