  • 69 seats

  • Independence!!!

  • Why do all the labour videos on youtube have their ratings disabled? Lol you don't have to answer that btw.

  • Roll on election day, I can not wait to vote SNP :)!!

  • thats labour and tories for u cuts cuts cuts .scotland needs snp so we can out of uk

  • Unless of course you favour keeping the pound, in which case the Bank of England would set them. Either way, pound or euro, upon independence requires a surrending of sovereignty in regard to fiscal and monetary policy. Unless the SNP plan a new currency?

Let me guess......The Salmond!? - which of course would be worth sweet F*** all.

Lets await the general election - 20 seats your leader promises!!!!

What a gimp he will look when you scrape 7 +/- (1) - LOLOLOLOLOL.

  • SNP cuts , cuts , cuts it makes me laugh because here we are 1 year on

since you made this cartoon , who are the one with the cuts, cuts , cuts ???

Yeah thats right labour and torie

" deeper cuts since Margaret Thatcher " the words of the labour Chancellor Alistair Darling .

I though you would have had the initiative to take this down , maybe not .

  • Unionist negative propaganda!!!! Desperate tactics from a desperate union!

  • The ratings are disabled for I simply cannot stop the deluge of cybernats from having their say...and that is not on.

    Flees among shite.

  • Aunty SNP stop being such a loser and join the Winning Team! your posts are so pathetic u have to disable the ratings! cos they are so low of course, Get a grip, COME BACK TO THE FOLD WE FORGIVE YOU! but burn your Butchers apron and wave a real Flag! The SAlTIRE OF SCOTLAND

  • I think you will find the flag is called the Saltire, not that a Nova Scotian, Connery-esq pretendy Scot would know.

Now Satire....that sums up the SNP perfectly. A freak show....rebels....without a cause.

    Labour - 38% (40 seats)

    SNP - 21% (7 seats)

    Tory - 20% (3 seats)

    Lib Dems - 15% (9 seats)

Latest YouGov for the GE. Quite a bit off that 20 seat target me thinks....you keep your little beady eyes on the other side of the pond.

The SNP are about to be wiped out.

  • LMAO werent u such an apologist for Britannia I would find you quite interesting! Good luck with your anti scottish theme i'm sure it will win you many friends in Low places

  • You know a lot about scaremongering don't you!Your videos are garbage as is your attitude!Go and crawl back into your cave and give yourself a wee break! INDEPENDENCE

  • This posted by "AntiSNP"???

Kinda says it all really. What happened to your independant thought mate? Did you lose it as you were reading chapter 1 of George Orwells 1984?

  • Last I looked, grudgingly i might add, the SNP won the popular vote - democracy in action i would have thought, regardless of the fact that Scotland did indeed vote for more unionists than separatists.

The 1984 comment is very strange. I would wager that you haven't even read the novel.

Of course I am against independence - it is not in my nature to campaign for a movement who wish to disturb a 300 year peace. Ripping the heart of the united kingdom....no thank you.

  • This is utter crap. At no point did Salmond say he didnt mind her economic policies.

Nice try at manipulating the truth.

    Typical Labour nonsense.

Time foor you bed son you're up early for school.

  • He quite clearly did - its recorded. I would surmise that he meant to say that Salmond didn't mind thatchers economic polices, but the word, Scotland just slipped in there. Is there any clearer a demonstration that wee eck sees himself as the embodiment of all Scots?

Which he most certainly is not.

  • I actually think he said he PREFERED her economic policies to her social policies, he didn't say he liked them. His actual recorded words were : "We didn't mind the economic side so much. But we didn't like the social side at all."

Then went on to say don't worry unlike Gordo Broon he won't be having her round for tea.

This is typical Labour Unionist drivel as usual!

  • This did not mean He liked the economic policies, just that out of the two the economic policies were not as bad as her social ones.

If you quote his whole interview rather than one sentence then you have no point to make at all!

  • That is the most laughable attempt at spin i have ever read. It is complete semantics, in no way did he mean what you have concluded. Of course he personally liked what thatcher did.

"Scotland didnt mind.." were his exact words.

The economic policies allowed for the social policies; with thatcher - the two go hand in hand. Economic - Poll tax, Social - Massive unrest.

Still waiting for the local income tax my friend......:),

  • Spin? Shut up. I think it is fair to say that everyone in Scotland hated everything but the social policies especially.

The local income tax was not supported by the other parties. Wait till we have a majority...my friend!

  • New Labour has trusted in a "outlaw" branded neocon "insurance" company awaiting numerous "RICO" ACT trials back in America, to help "reform" the UK NHS and national social policies. They have sunk to a new low!

You need to look at the reality going on and get past stupid and totally irrelevant "party" politics. What's best for Scotland and all her people? There is only one answer - complete control of our own destiny. Please do your own research and hopefully you will see some sense...

  • maybe salmond never minded thatchers policies as he was busy in a full time job as a banker, whereas the ORDINARY people who were effected by her policies are still resentfull to this day. DONT VOTE, IT ONLY ENCOURAGES THEM

  • WELCOME TO THE TWISTED MIND OF A SAD LITTLE LABOUR POODLE. dont think youll sway many intelligent voters with this bileous nonsense laddie.GROW UP.

    SCOTLAND FOREVER !!

The UK as it is :(

or SCOTLAND as it should be:)

    choose SCOTLAND

    Vote SNP X

  • London cuts Scotlands budget to try and scupper the SNP rule at Holyrood. These Scottish Unionists are really trying everything in the book ??????

  • Labour/Tories - Lies , illegal wars , tax , tax , tax , tax

  • an open question to unionists?

the scotland office, holyrood, westminster, brussels, local council & regional council? what does a country of just over 5 million need with this level of goverment? tell me you don't agree with this? somethings got to go? what do you think that should be?

  • I love the way people just cut quotes off mid sentence so they can manipulate the meaning.

  • unionist tactics!

  • You have been very selective with the wording from the Alex Salmond interview! Alex did not say that Scotland liked her economic policies but said that while the Scots didn't like her economic policies, we disliked her social policies even more!

I think that you should of actually read the whole interview for yourself before making this video! If anyone should be accused of supporting Maggie Thatcher it is Gordon Brown after inviting her to tea at Downing Street!!

  • I suppose it was pretty clear due to the following: Arrogance, patronising comments, constanly talking Scotland down, misquoting people to suit your agenda, predictable, negative campaigning etc etc.

Yep sounds like youd fit right in to the labour party - your possibly even leadership material. :D This is my last comment on your videos. ta ta.

  • I voted SNP and I will vote yes for independence. One of the biggest reasons for anyone to vote SNP is in the hope that in 2010 Scotland will become an independent country. John Mason even says something along those lines himself:

"I joined the SNP as I think everyone joins the SNP, to give independence to Scotland".

  • oh dear cave dwellers like yourself, still with their heads in the sand ,you are the new minority, politically dwindling away on the fringes of this new Scotland

discredited , disliked and still dependant on something that is dead

    Saor Alba 2010

  • That would be why you are a MINORITY government then?

Ohh...whats that....2/3rds of the chamber are unionist? Sounds like a MANDATE to me.

  • Do you honestly think 2/3rds of the Scottish people are unionists? Most people support the union by default. Come Independence nobody will ever admit they supported the union - including our unionist politicians.

  • I would prefer to be discredited and disliked than be dishonored living the life of a traitor.

There is only one nation on this island and that is the UK.

  • the uk is a state not a nation.

  • You are kidding yourself if you think every SNP voter would vote yes in an independence referendum.

When push comes to shove, the Scots will say no and your party will be finished.

  • You are kidding yorself if you think every voter of a unionist party would vote no!

  • As usual with the Labour party and their hacks online they have misquoted someone to suit their own agenda.

"We didn't mind the economic side so much. But we didn't like the social side at all."

Notice the SO MUCH, ie Scots didnt like it but they hated her attacks on society EVEN MORE.

Labour need to grow up and get the chips of their shoulders.

  • So the SNP are moving to the Right? To the right of Labour!

Yes, the Labour Party that joined George Bush in Iraq, against the express wish of its constituents? That wants to lock up terror suspects, without trial, for longer and longer periods? The party that has introduced the surveillance society and invested billions in nuclear weapons?

    Eh,no!

  • The Prime Minister was returning a favour. Thatcher invited him when she was prime minister.

It was common courtesy. Even the treasonous should understand that.

It was not a pact. A supply and confidence suggestion regarding the arithmetic of holyrood; in order to stop your insipid party from destroying our nation with its disastrous "policies/lies".

  • "treasonous" - brilliant thats a new one. first time ive been called that :D

  • What about Broon saying:

"I also admire the fact that she is a conviction politician... I am a conviction politician like her"

No Labour party hacks called for him to appologise and that is alot alot worse (he said he admires her ffs) than what the First Minister said. Though Salmond is the victim of typicaly bad reporting from the Scottish press.

  • "Salmond is the victim"

Ill get the violin....poor wee SNP.

To admire, but not agree with, the first female leader of our country? Is that a vice? She deserves respect; although her politics (and yours) were and are wrong.

    Salmond AGREES with the policies.

  • I have absolutley no admiration for her (and Blair or Brown)

Please list all of the policies Salmond agrees with her on - maybe you could make another wee video (mind the misquotes)

Im sure New Labour share alot more with her than just cups of tea and silverware sets!

  • It was not a pact!

He outed himself as a 'conviction politician' - what he so much respected about Mags hersel'. Aye, cuts cuts cuts, privatising public services, building schools on the back of HUGE private companies profits.....that'll be New Liebour then.

PS I really must correct your use of English. Power has 'gone to their heads'. Their being New Labour, who are currently hanging onto power by the skin of their teeth.

  • At least we built schools in our terms. You are still serving out the fag end of labour's commissions. Not ONE OF YOUR OWN in an entire year and lets not even start on the Futures Trust.

Of course, we all knew the promise to match our school building record was bull from the start. Indeed, bull is the only thing spewing from the SNP these days.

My use of English was correct you fool.

  • Love the use of "we". Are you a member of the Labour party?

  • i love how "we" built schools! lol! the people who pay the taxes are the ones that build the schools! new labour promised so much? yet delivered massive nothing but massive burdens on the tax paying public! PFI'S built foe £400 million payback £1.5 BILLION my four year old, has a better grasp of numbers! westminster, holyrood, brussels, district council, scotland office & regional council? what the fuck? does a nation of 5 million need with this amount of public servants? jobs for the boys, crooks

  • Looks like another poor effort from John Smith house.

Salmond has never invited Thatcher round for tea. Gordon Brown has.

Labour's Ian Gray also recently suggested a pact with the tories.
