Trauma fragments the psychi, when Jesus Christ takes over HE becomes our only alter. Bless God for His salvation through Christ. Believe in Him and he will make you his forever.
I suffer from this, and no one sees it either. You can go to my channel and see my videos. You'll be able to pick apart my personalities. I do not find glamor in this, it really quite hard when you begin to suffer from a bipolar mood swings. One minute your happy, the other angry, sometimes you show compassion and love, other times an asshole version of you pops out. (sigh) hope the skeptics realize how real this is :(
Wow! It makes my System shake inside! To see how far we've come.....how far still, we have to go!! NO ONE who does not have DID will believe....Those who have it, will NOT WANT to believe, at certain times. Because, it's a lot of WORK to become more integrated!!!
this reporter is an ass... I am so glad that this guy is going public with this. I suffer with this everyday and I can't tell anyone because people will call me a freak.
@HyaenusDominae I am certain that the abuse he went through was not made public for certain reasons. I know DID the ins and outs and I can tell you that there is no faking a true DID case. A faker would be someone who you can TELL switches. Like Sybil for example. I hate people that are as ignorant as you.
@MsCDarlynn I never said outright that he's faking. I said I'm skeptical. I've watched documentaries on DID, and those people we're severely dysfunctional. He doesn't seem dysfunctional at all. Anyway, I don't think I'm ignorant. I've taken a genuine interest in DID, and I want to understand it. If you think I'm ignorant, please educate me. For starters, who's Sybil?
@HyaenusDominae - Sorry... I didn't mean to say hate, or be so rude. I should have explained stuff better. That was really rude. It's extremely difficult for people who are not trained in DID to be able to tell when people switch. I just watched a small documentary on the Sybil movie and hollywood really glorified it alright. Like her talking in French and stuff. That doesn't happen. I don't think in real life anything like that happened to her that way. But like you said people with DID are
@HyaenusDominae very usually messed up. Like for me I have been diagnosed with just about everything in the DSM. From schizophrenia to Major Dep to borderline to schizoid and the list goes on. They know that I am messed up, but nobody has any concrete facts as to why. I am in intensive therapy to "integrate" although we haven't started the integration process yet and I switch all the time. I think this man has probably been through therapy and been integrated. It's not a process we all want
@HyaenusDominae Basically to see someone with DID, not integrated it would probably look more so like massive mood shifts and condescending actions, maybe coupled with serious amnesia and general psychosis. Someone integrated, would look much like this man. The fact is though that to integrate, ALL parts have to agree and if they don't you will have a TRAIN WRECk afterwards. Worse then before. Some of mine still refuse others exist. We're not ready for integration.
What a fucking dick interviewer. He accused him of trying to get out talking it about it? The whole way this interview is organized also just bugs me. Why would someone want to make out to be a crazy person?
@JaiMac28 The thing is, he's not making himself seem crazy. He emphasizes that his disorder doesn't cause him any trouble. He also never mentions what trauma might have caused him to develop alters, but we know that dissociative identity disorder is pretty much always caused by abuse. The interviewer wasn't accusing him of anything. There are bound to be people who think Walker is faking, and the interviewer had to represent those people too. He was just being fair.
@StolzaKryptz Why? Do you think you might have dissociative identity disorder? Or do you just wanna understand it better? I might be able to help if you just wanna know more. But I'm not therapist or anything.
hahahahha fucking bullshit that guy dosent have shit y the fuck wud he have he has no history of any bad child hood or anything but that he was fat weve all been fat at one point and the things that bring this on are constant abuse not being chubby and i mean real abuse not being called fat boy imean being hit reapetedly all the i want to find this guy and tell hes full of shit
She is one beautiful person inside. If God exist you can certainly see it in her. Two very nice people deep down. I hope they are both doing well today.Lots of admiration on my part towards them
do u'll knw my mom also has did and she also suffers with scgizophrenia and she thinks that she's mother mary but she isn't !!! she gives bad words and she has become more powerfull than she was before please guys pray for me i'm just 13 currently my family needs ur prayers.. when she build up the problem she first used to get scared of male figure but after two years she attacked my elder sister she bit her and nw she gets violent whenever she sees her please pray for me !!!!
she's crazy for staying with him...i know he has a disorder but ain't that much "stand by your man" in the world. you ain't gotta flip out on me but once...sorry!
@chocolatechipcokies Yeah... Often interviewers are very patronizing like that and condescending . And even Therapists can be, (i've seen a few lol) I can't stand it, and the whole time watching the interview i was like Man,, I commend my man Herschel and his ex wife for being so patient and calm with the guy, cuz i would have been like ''check yourself!!! '' lol
@cspj12 humans are not perfect its not impposible for a person to have something like this people expext everyone to be perfect brain wise they are naive
negatives? you can end up missing parts of your mind of your life. People are always scared to be around you. Sometimes you wake up and there are holes in your walls. Sometimes you sit down and think you take a nap but you were actualy a different person doing who knows what. some DID have suicidal alters so if you get too stressed out and switch over to the suicidal person you could never wake up again
@didyouseethatshit777 yeah:( i think the suicidal alters need seriously help, or someone can "lock" them up as i've heard. i don't have DID, and i don't mean to be disrespectful when i say this, but i don't really think there's anything positive by having DID as it's caused by childhood abuse. i think the only "positive" thing about it, is that is a defense defense mechanism, and helps to protect the mind. it's really a sad thing, and those who have it struggle alot.
@didyouseethatshit777 i feel the interviewer is kind of those people who think it's "cool" to have that kind of mental disorder. i defintley understand people being fascinated on how the mind works with DID, and how the mind splits into different parts etc, but there's nothing "cool" about having a mental disorder, and especially not a mental disorder like MPD/DID.
I have a "warrior" personality inside me too, I guess ti's probably I have been abused, bullied, mistreated for decades, which I need a protector role to cope with this situations.
Thank you for sharing. I've been married to my husband for 20+ years and we are just now learning that he may have this illness. The things you, your wife, and your therapist describe helps explain so much and makes us feel less afraid and less alone! Learning about this is helping us and I know will help my husband and our family. Thank you for your transparency and God Bless!

There are two things that make me skeptical about whether Herschel Walker might have DID:
1. They didn't mention what sort of trauma may have caused it. I should think that Walker and Mungadze would have gained some understanding of that.
2. They didn't show any footage of his alters surfacing. In fact, all they talked about was what the alters did, not what they do.
It's true, Herschel Walker doesn't need money. He wouldn't fake DID for that. If he's faking, it's probably for attention.

the interviewer seems kind of stupid. i mean shouldn't he read upon some information on DID before he interviews a person with DID?
he's like: you should take the blame for what your alters did. it wasn't him, and that's why doesn't remember.
