The best cheat is walk through walls. I have a SNES and game genie that I can do this. Also recently did this on the DS remake. I also gave myself ultimate gear. It was awesome to be able to skip all the grinding stuff and just walk from boss to boss in an ultimate boss rush.

The DS version also has a new dungeon where you have to do useless running up and down this curvy trail. Walk through walls was very useful in cutting off the time.

I have most of my characters on the SNES version in the mid 90s but that took months and possibly year to have only one character to get to level 99, which of course is Crono. How did you make it to Level 99 so fast?

The only bad thing about that video is that it take 2 hours for something THAT simple. Some1 can shrink it to 4 or 2 minutes.

@barsa527 there are people directly below me asking what c. triggers do. why don't you go make fun of them? Just checked gamefaqs, since you weren't such a nice guy as to just give me the answer. Gradeus is not listed as an item, anywhere...maidensuit is pretty worthless, and sorry I havent gotten around to charming every single monster in the game to find the other two. I only asked because I know sometimes people hack and create their own items/spells on emulators for fun.

The game could end with Crono not being at the final battle, or you could do the side quest and save his life. One of the many different endings this game has....kinda hard to do them all.

You're a pussy if you want to level up fast once you reach the mountains right after zeal defeat and area and then go back and refight them youll gain fast experience im 10 levels ahead right now and know all triple techs but seriously if you want to be a true gamer beat the fucking game by yourself

You'll be needing to revive someone sometime in the game. Is part of the plot. You just need 1 Chrono Trigger and 1 Doppel Doll.

It's really a shame, because Chrono Trigger is one of the best video games ever created, but you're just using it as an experiment. You should've messed with a Final Fantasy game or something and saved Chrono Trigger to play and not waste.

I went to dactyls nest right when I got to Prehistoria and went up and down gaining around 96 tech points and LOTS of exp.

I knew Lightning 2, rock throw and uzzi punch

Of course. Glitch? No. I entered a cheat. When you fight a battle you earn 99 levels.
