@PumaM90 he said me that are some species introducted in florida. He has one text in a brazilian magazine about birds "revista pássaros" that talk about that species how amazona aestiva, nendayus nenday, brotogeris versicolor. search about "revista passaros aves na florida" in google. Thanks! do u have birds?
@PumaM90 In USA you have the carduelis tristis, gold finch or american gold finch. He's very beautiful. I know that in Florida has many exotic birds introduced how parrots, macaws and cacatuas. My friend says that have amazona aestiva, brotogeris versicolor, nendayus nenday, gallah... Really???
Hi, my name's Pablo and i'm brazilian. Here in my country do not have many parrots how your country. It is amazing see lot parrots and cacatuas in this video. And the colors? The bugerigar (here called periquito australiano). it is amazing!
congratulations to the australian people. This is a treasure that we, brazilians, do not become a reality. We do not have our hyacintin macao, our spix...
@stacysaysrawr101 G'Day mate... some say that cockatoos are louder in captivity than in the wild due to the fact they have a keen "sense" of predators around them (put them in a cage & they no they cant be touched). However its early November (spring in Sydney) & their babies can cry all day long for a feed, the closet sound comparison i can give you is a slowly deflating whoopy cushion. In saying that I've seen flocks of 50+ with Galahs & Correlas mixed in. Hollywood uses this sound in films
@MetalBassjunkie420 If I recall there's only one breed of snake in Australa large enough to eat most species of parrot as large as those. and well...Rainbow Lorikeet's are so vicious that all of them could take one snake on, whether it's a Bandy Bandy or a Taipan XD
i love parakeets sooo much i got 14 12 years ago i bread not to sell but to always have parakeets the load i had a flock at one time 145 babies later i have 7 base left og line lol after that done we all deserve to be free
I would also like to say I am very glad you are raising awarness about adopting parrots. Its irresponsible people who end up teaching these birds bad behaviour and giving them up. However, I can also tell you that most people cannot handle adopted parrots, it is a difficult task requiring more patience than most people are willing to sacrafice. Their psychological development is like a four year old child. Much more difficult to rehabilitate.
It's 5:40pm (aest) (Epping,Sydney,Australia) and im typing this whilst watching two sulphur crested cockatoos pull pegs & clothes off my neighbours washing line.
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha
I was thinking about yelling out the window at them - then thought nah fuck it this is too funny.
@freddymdight this is why I don't understand why people keep them as pets in other countries >..< let them have their fun out in the wild, not caged up in your home.
I love how the male Rainbow Lorikeet puts so much effort into his dance, and the female, well, she just stretches her wings.
My fave 'too story though, comes from my dad. He told me a story about how, in the wet season near the New South Wales and Queensland border, a truck carrying wheat came a-cropper and lost its load. The wheat fermented in the gutters, and a few days later, the road (I think it was the Pacific Hwy) was shut due to the amount of drunk Corellas staggering all over the road.
the government should feed the birds in hard times, i can understand the farmers.

Wow !!!
Clever, very funny, but sometimes very destructive, too.
And well colored birds.
Birds have to fly in freedom !!! What giant swarms! Keas are similar "destructors".
Very interesting movie .

I like parrots, but if I were one of those farmers, I would put snakes around my crops.
