I think this is absolutely fascinating. The disjointed visuals and (at times) creepy music really illuminate his fragmented life. What a tragic history. At least some one finally heard his story.
i found the music very uncomfortable, and i mean in a physical sense. it made it hard to sit through even though i was very interested in his story. i don't think i've ever seen anything on this subject matter.
.i know how you feel. The music made me feel all weaird and queazy. It was really hard to finish this. I kept feeling like I was going to see something Disgusting, Disturbing or Scary too because of some parts of the music.
This video right here makes you think about how great our life's are and that what Jim went through to get his life on track I am sorry Jim what you had to experience in life... Loves Josh
..wow, extremely interesting. It truly makes you think about your life. Just one question, if he was abandoned at birth, how did he survive until he went hunting and then got his first job?
i asked my self a lot of questions when i watched this short, which is good. it's very touching story and visual language is quiet interesting. great.
Haven't watched it yet (Internet will take a while to load it; damn countryside! But in the description it says "Fiend" when i think it should say FIELD!
Wow, very deep stuff. The hell that this guy has been put through seems indescribable, and the fact that there are most certainly millions like him is by definition an absolute tragedy. Jeez, it's hard to even imagine.
Its a terrible shame that this sort of thing happens. He looks like an average everyday human being. To hear that a man should be put in such a predicament is truly a shame. I have the utmost respect for him, an exceptional soul.
All over the world there are millions of men with stories similar to Jim`s; it`s a shame they can`t all be documented in a wonderful short film such as this.
I thought this short was about the guy who founded Image Comics and worked for Marvel.

Wow, it was a really emotional feeling you got after seeing this.
Very sad story... back in the days ( 50-70ies) it was hard times for poor peoples.
It really get you thinking about your own life, how easy and good you have!

i think he was in an orphanage. that's why he said the people in the orphanage were only interested in themselves and not the children
tokee1234567 2 years ago
oh...hmm.. I thought he said that because he didn't want to go to the orphanage. Oh wells :)
