I've got more than a few labels like that!! I've always been a little befuddled why the companies went through the expense of a flip side, when it rarely sells more records but certainly boosts costs, writing, performing, recording. Makes me wanna go Hmmmm.
@srercrcr try Hello Marylou/Traveling Man.sometimes the "B" sides prove out.the Shirelles could do no wrong.best girl group of all time.the Go Go's were 2nd
1964. This was the B-side of the Van McCoy-penned "Maybe Tonight". It was this side that I preferred, though. The long version can be found on "For Collecors Only" on Collectibles.
thanks for the good sounds. re your comments about the label....most of my "reclaimed" collection labels look like this...very unfortunate. But the way I figure is, at least somebody enjoyed the record and ventured to the flip side. (What good is a book if it's not opened and read?)
I don't think the Shirelles ever sang a bad song ! Wish there was music like this today ! I have heard this song before, is this the B side of one of there hits ? 5*****
This is true. I didn't even realize this one existed until recently. The good news is Scepter probably pressed a good amount of these so I shouldn't have a problem finding an upgrade at some point
This should have been the "A" side. i always thought it was better than Maybe Tonight.

I agree.. I think it's a travesty to own a 45 and not play both sides.

It's not the normal Shirelles ballad, but it is nice

This is very beautiful and distinctly different from their trademark sound! Thanks PJ!

They were definitely going in a different direction with this one, but in a good way
