How to brodcast music into a chat room without a mic.

I got it to work in 7/vista

right click on the speaker icon, go to recording devices

right click on the window that pops up, and set it to show disabled devices

it should show Stereo Mix

enable it, and disable the mic. if you want...

You cannot broadcast with Vista. Stereo Mix is not allowed with Vista.

ya already fixed it. One my friends helped me on the vista pc so able to cast the music on vista and xp now :)

When I get to the recording input control I can't select stereo mix, I only have a mute box to check mark.
