I love the young kids pumping their chests about the 1970's steelers... you know Packers fans aren't 1 one millionth as obnoxious and they've won waaaaaaaaay more NFL Championships (yes they had these even before the Super Bowl)
Well I'm not really sure if u can prove that but I am pretty sure that play has been executed before the game that ur referring to and I'm sure it will continue to be executed by other teams. However, even if they did, what better way to stick it to the Steelers by using it on them. The non-story that we refer to as "spygate" is another issue for another time. But in any case, they lost at the superbowl and all us Pats fans are still recovering from it. Although a Celtics championship helped :)
honestly, I wish I could agree with that, but knowing the outcome now, I wouldn't mind if they had lost a few games in the season and ended up winning it all in the Superbowl, I'd be happier with 4 Superbowl rings than 16-0...however it was still pretty impressive in it's own way.
True, yet, it's basically tricking the defense into believing that it's going to be a running play, or a play at the line of scrimmage, (in this case, a screen to Randy) then lateralling the ball back to QB and the pass is thrown. That is technically a flea-licker, but whatever.
Uhhh, just incase you didn't know a Flea Flicker is more like a Playaction were the ball is given to the running back who runs up the middle but laterals the ball back befor he breaks the plane of the line of scrimmage, this play was simpley a WR toss, were is was tossed to Moss, then tossed back to Brady and bombed to Gaffnet, the offical play is call SE WR Toss.

its too bad that the only way the steelers could beat us is for tom brady to get injured if brady wasn't injured, we would've killed them this year
jcougarfootball21 2 years ago
@jcougarfootball21 Sure. Brady is a pussy-bitch.

Amazing throw by Brady, that was about a 63 yrd toss. :D
I love how the crowd goes "Aww..." when Moss drops the ball, then goes crazy when he throws it back to Tom. :D

Yeah well it was a heartbreaker but at least we came the closest to that 19-0...Giants outplayed us...that's all

No, that was Belichick stealing that play from the Steelers/Bengals wild card playoff game from 2005.
Or, wait a minute, did he tape that game? I have heard that the Patriots do cheat.....
hmmmm.....I wonder.
