yeah, the food grade drum has been on the property for years. It's fairly warped and in order for the bottom to spin freely, it had to be a bit undersized. this thing has done 30 or forty chickens so far and only one leg/foot issue.If your going to build one, I recommend getting the book. I didn't and it took longer than it should have and I made a few mistakes. Kyle

looks likeyou got lots of space between the featherplateand the wall of the plucker, dont you get chicken feet getting stuck in that space?
