  • Can I use ajax that contains bleach in it? (powder)

  • you sir just saved my oreos

  • HEY? This solves that sole separation and color bleaching shit fromt he sea glow???

  • @iiNgONYaMa sole separation comes from the heat from the sunlight or uav light used on the soles, not the formula itself

  • this worked amazingly on my 99' fire red 5 on the yellowed toebox and the icy bottom thanks ALOT !!!

  • will this work on air force ones???

  • @Evilkid936 same here it just feels like water

  • Aye hit me up @ BlackQuest89 I have effective method to keeping the foamposite and air Jordan especially icey it's not a seaglow or retrobright alternative this is just a great aftercare home made product to clean the shoe.

  • @SneakerRevival...if I put it on my shoes and take em outside, how often should i bring em in

  • This wouldnt work for icy soles?

  • @xxcrazysniperxx it does!

  • how log will it take 4 an

    outcome?

  • can we use anything else exept oxi clean answer sum1 asap.

  • YOU SHOOD HAVE PLAYED " MIXIN UP THE MEDICINE" IN STEAD LOL

  • Great video!

  • i did this and after i put it in the microwave it wasnt thick... it was just like water. why is this am i doing something wrong>

  • @IsPieCool keep it in the microwave till it becomes thick, put it in the microwave for 40 seconds, if it isnt thick put it in for 10 seconds , if it still isnt another 10 seo]conds, this happened to me

  • is there a substitute for oxi clean?

  • @MrTreygo

    "Oxygenated Cleaner" by homelife.

you get half a pound more for $3 less

the reaction is caused by sodium percarbonate and sodium carbonate.

  • 2:20 -do we really need to make a new batch every time we apply?

If not, how long can we keep the retrobright for? Like if its sealed in a container.

  • I fucking love you.

  • Can I like take a litle bit of the mixture out and just use the oxiclean on that so i still have some mixture left

  • @yungdrJ yea you can!

  • @SneakerRevival how many times do you have to do this on kinda badly yellow 11's?

  • Where can I get hydrogen peroxide and

  • how long do you keep it in the sun for ?

  • what concentration of hydrogen peroxide did you use?

  • @Smartxape i used 3% to start, i have recently started using 12%, they both work

  • @SneakerRevival Alright i just did it today using 3% hydrogen peroxide, it worked great, thanks alot!

I used the exact same method you did.

  • @Smartxape nice! good work!

  • @SneakerRevival after you apply the retrobright the first time , do you HAVE to wipe it off , remake it and do it a second time ?

  • How much does it cost altogether to get the 3 products you need to make the retrobright?

  • @retroman89 like 5 or 6 bucks

  • does this also cause seperation of the sole?

  • @SneakerZeeker actually sea glow or retr0bright aren't what cause the sole separation, its the heat from the sun that causes the separation so you have to be careful no matter which one you are using

  • @SneakerRevival ok so i live in central CALIFORNIA and the weather is at 90 all week. what should the temperature be when i do 80ish?

  • Nevemind I read tha other dudes comments lol.

  • Is it ok if, instead of puttin my shoes in a setup can I just put them in tha sun? Will that effect tha results?

  • be careful if ur using the 12% peroxide cuz it burned of small parts of the leather on my infrared 6s and my black/maize 7s...i was able to paint it and its not as noticeable but be cautious

  • How Long In Days Will It Take To See Result Like The Ones Of Your Cool Greys???

  • @SwAgBkAPoLoKiNg with this exact recipe (3% peroxide) probably 6 or 7 sessions. The sessions could each be 1 or 2 hrs outdoor or anywhere from 4-10 hrs indoors. its gonna vary with every shoe and the amount of yellowing. I leave them in my indoor setup all night and that gets the job done pretty quick

  • @SneakerRevival Thanks.. Cause Im Trinna Make My Colombia's And Space Jams Icy Again And Ive Been Doing This Method 2 Days Str8 Now.. I But The RetroBright On Them Then Leave Em Outside Until They Dry Clean It Off And Repeat The Process. Ive Been Seeing A Lil Bit Of Results But Nothing Of The Ones You Received With The Cool Greys...

  • @SwAgBkAPoLoKiNg try this instead, learned this tip from restoremysneakers after I made this video. Put a piece of saran wrap over the sole of the shoe after you apply the retrobright. it will make it so it doesn't dry out and it's work better.

  • @sneakerrevival ok so if it doesnt dry out will it still work?

  • @ElGrupoFuereno1 yea its actually better if it doesn't dry out. it stops working once it dries out

  • Comment removed

  • @ElGrupoFuereno1 @ElGrupoFuereno1 if you cover it with saran wrap after you apply it it won't dry out. i learned that after making this video. but it would dry out in like an hour outside and 2 hours or so inside

  • Could you replace the oxi clean with arm & hammer ?

  • @Mr05ive gonna be honest with you man, i have NO idea if arm and hammer would work. if your looking for something different id say your best bet would be a knock of brand oxygen cleaner in powder form

  • where can i find oxy clean?

  • @Lyric1235 walmart, walgreens, dillons... pretty much anywhere haha

  • @SneakerRevival thnx

  • i think the thickening depends on watts of ur microwave? Idk but im going to try now

  • @PeterJiv the thickening just comes from the corn starch heating up with the liquid. same thing would happen if you just used water

  • But a question @sneakerrevival, what exactly does the corn starch do?

  • @OverCookedSushi its a thickening agent. if you didn't use it it wouldn't stay on your show it would just run off

  • @SneakerRevival thanks, saw slight results, the white residue that i got after my sessions were hard to clean off so i just left my soles the way they were, hah

  • @OverCookedSushi it will be gone after so many hours it just kinda fades away!

  • @SneakerRevival I actually wiped it off clean, left them there for about 2 days, and they came back 0_o It's cool though, saw results thanks.

  • @SCODTTY me and my friend actually are doing that right now, and that happened to us too, but we put it in longer and it began to thicken up.

  • after i took it out of the microwave it didnt become thick like pudding

  • So will it work on icy soles?

  • @rayford8605 yes it will

  • DONT PUT THE MIXTURE IN THE MICROWAVE TOO LONG OR IT MIGHT BLOW UP!

  • how many tries did it take u to get those results? i made this b4 and applied it to my aj 6 infrareds 5 times and didnt get any good results

  • @barryhudson12 around 4 or 5 on my 4's and 7 or 8 on my icy soles. if you did it 5 times you should have seen some results. something had to have went wrong with either the retr0bright or incorrect lighting.

  • @SneakerRevival will this work with other colors besides icysoles

  • @123JAILBREAKME i know I have got results removing yellowed gray and white rubbers. those are the only colors i have really seen actually get yellowed.

  • Sent here by restoremysneakers

  • @NallePu83 those dudes are AWESOME! lol

  • could i add seaglow to this mixture?

  • can you put this on the soles of the 5s ?

  • @planbleandro12 yes you can

  • Curious what's the shelf life on these mixture?

  • @optimusp517 after youve added the peroxide you need to apply it within 3 hours, if you keep them seperate you have a while. check restoremysneakers video on it they have some more detail on the actual shelf life

  • @SneakerRevival Why within 3 hours? The stuff goes bad that fast?!

  • @optimusp517 scratch that, 3 DAYS haha sorry. but yea its all about the reaction between the peroxide and oxiclean, after around 3 days its done

  • For anyone who wants to know developer 10 volume 3% 20 vol 6% 30 vol 9% and 40 vol 12%

  • @tlawrence117 thanks!

  • Bro I went to sallys and they didnt have straight peroxide they have developer wit a high concentration of peroxide in it would that work LMK asap please

  • @tlawrence117 a guy on solecollector was saying he read that the high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide (40%) can damage the surfaces you apply retr0bright to. Im sure the developer is using 40%. Supposedly anything higher than 12% can damage your shoes. so just be careful, it all depends on what your using, id hate to see anyone mess up their kicks. good luck man

  • I've had a restoration business for years and been using seaglow for a min and I'm happy with the results but it gets pricey and time consuming but I hope I get the same results cuz I'd love to drop the prices for customers GREAT VID BRO

  • @tlawrence117 thanks a lot man and good luck!

  • these will work on ice soles

  • is there anything else yucann use instead of coenstarch cuz i cant find it

  • @freshmel2 do you have a walmart or kroger in your town? any grocery store should have it right by baking soda

  • what was the percentage of hydrogen peroxide you used ??

  • @theFILIPS26 3% here. people have been getting better results using a higher percentage though. with 3% youll just need to do it for longer.

  • My solution was watery & foamy, not thickning like urs, idk same ingredients tho, got Icy Soles & White midsole (& shelltoes) out there.. gonna check back in like 30, hopefully it works !

  • @totalfreshness yea its really hard to get the consistency the same as you did before just a little corn starch more or less makes a huge difference in the thickness. good luck man

  • Gonna try it out on my hawaiis, ill check bacc tmro

  • Yes deff need a 10-12% hydrogen peroxide for it to work properly

  • A lot of people on sole collector have been getting results on icy soles. ill post a video of my attempt soon. you may need to experiment with higher percentages.

  • The reason it mite not work on clear soles is because your hydrogen peroxide strength is too low, the one in this video is 3% if you want results you gotta find one that's 12% which is found at a health food store

  • @SneakerRevival hey bro i dont think this stuff works on clear soles and i tried in different container and it stayed white but have you tried it on icy soles????

  • @SneakerRevival well the only thing i used different was instead of Oxy clean i used LA's totally awesome oxy clean do you think thats what it is?? but is white too??

  • @210brucelee i just check out some of there products, a lot of there products have sort of a brown tint to it... maybe there i just some ingredient in there that did that. If thats the only ingredient you changed then id think that would be the problem. Good luck man

  • @SneakerRevival I made the mixture and it came out kinda brown did i do something wrong or is that normal???

  • @210brucelee hmm thats weird haha being as all the ingredients are clear or white... im not sure how it could come out brown. its been perfectly white when i have made it. did you use just normal what corn starch? maybe the containter you use was dirty or it some how colored the substance. if i were you i wouldnt use it if it came out brown it could stain your shoes. try it again making sure to use a white container and everything is clean. wish i could help you more!

  • @TuNice23 Im not sure i have only used 3%. You could try walgreens maybe? i know its available online..... alot of people are getting results with just 3%. If i find some higher percentage locally ill test it out.

  • Where can I find 12% hydrogen peroxide? Because restoremysneakers says its better using 10-12 % hydrogen peroxide
