  • sounds very keith emerson-ish

  • Thanks for the update. I need to spend a day checking out the publishers. I learn a good deal of what I know about new software releases from associates. The problem tends to be that there are few dealers in these parts that have demonstration versions available let alone have a knowledgeable staff. A less than subtle difference between current times and the good old hands on hardware days.

  • im sure, the only way for me to compose greatly,is to find a special composing-plugin for photoshop...

  • I admit to not having experience with the entire VST market but I still believe the old adage that "you get what you pay for". There may well be excellent alternatives now but the B4II was the better (for me) out there three years ago when I was creating my system. I have hardware versions of many of my VSTs including a C-3, it just doesn't offer the tweaks that made this piece work. My road C was altered to grind and spit on demand. Freeware is getting better all the time.

  • Surely VSTPlanet do a similar VST for free?

  • If the B4II has been discontinued, it has all but certainly been replaced by another software package. I used another Hammond VST in another studio but don't remember what it was or who published it. It wasn't as refined as the B4II. Few I have experienced are. Native Instruments will have something for you.

  • @CoalhouseCat B4II was changed to vintage organs, and it has more organs and more features.

  • can i get a copy too. naughtry. im amtrc . wow im too late when did they discontinue it .

  • great

  • I must have missed something. I use the B4II solely in Sonar and the MIDI is more or less independent from one track to the next. Just one of however many VSTs are called up. I have noticed that THRU has vanished from hardware instruments in recent years. I have an antique Yamaha MIDI splitting gizmo from the late '80s and it deals with old style MIDI distribution on the rare occasions it is needed. I now have a stage rig where Sonar simply directs MIDI ch to six or eight VSTs used live.

  • Thanks . I found it online on one of those sites that let me download one file.

i got it and it came with the code also. love it . only problem . IT has NO THRU on the midi. I have to use the old B4 ver 1 because it has a THRU CHECKBOX. Perplexes me why they took this feature off the MIDI MENU. A thru not too much to ask for in a software program. Computer will not run 2 stand alone VSTs either tried that. Anybody know how to get the Thru to come on maby another menu Im not seeing?

  • i also use the b4 II in my video

  • Where can I get a copy to download of this program. It has been discontinued. can I get a copy from U>?

  • @Naughtry Hey man I have downloaded it via torrents if you want pm me to send you the link, or if it's not available I can upload it to rapidshare, and yes it has been discontinued, the only way to get it by downloading it or by actually buying it from an old store.. Cheers!

  • Rock on, bro! I don't know from no drawbar, but this does do some rockin'..

    Bang the gong slowly!!!
