Besides the fact that this song is actually about punk culture and clubs banning mosh pits, I've been trying to find out if there was actually a dance that's supposed to go with this song. But I guess that sort of defies its meaning.

Just something I read somewhere. I heard that what the song is really about was that there were a lot of clubs that would try to ban people from moshing, and the song was saying that they should have the freedom to dance, look, and act however they want to.

I'm not sure why fans of punk rock would start a new wave band, but then again, I happen to love both punk rock and new wave, so it's possible.
