Actually, I took a look at that article and that was dated in 2005. There was a design prior to this one, this is as tall as the freedom tower will get.

The "freedom tower" won't be bigger. It'll hit at least 107 floors. I don't care about the antenna, I don't care about the bunker it sits on. Floor wise, it's small. and it's a horrible replacement for the Towers.

Very cool. Obviously a lot different than the twin towers but very futuristic looking. Instead of 2 towers of the same height they will have 4 or 5 of varying heights. I'm very glad they redesigned Freedom Tower and added the antennae on top to make it more like the North Tower.

Not for nothing, but the so-called "Freedom Tower" is an absolute disgrace. It's such a weak statement. They should have rebuilt the Twin Towers bigger, bolder, and stronger than before. Instead, we're getting this steel & glass turd foisted on us.
