You guys are not understanding the filming prcoess here. If would have delayed the movie for ten days could cost them fortune,a A lot of money goes into making a film. They have to rent the location for the shot and if they delayed it would have cost them more money.

I disagree with some of the comments about how Bryce is more suited to be Victoria, because when I was reading the Twilight saga, I imagined Victoria to be exactly like Rachelle and I was stunned at how perfectly fitted she was for the role whereas Bryce looks thin, kind and a weak person. Victoria is supposed to portray someone malicious, strong and quite scary. To me Rachelle was better but I would like to be proven wrong when I watch Eclipse.

Just for everyone who's against this just think of these things before making your decision. Victoria is supposed to look a little on the crazy side, have firey red hair(not strawberrry blonde like in the movie) and be beautiful but not like rosalie beautiful. She has all that.

This makes me so mad. Rachelle fits Victoria's role so perfectly! She fits Victoria as well as Taylor fits Jacob and Rob fits Edward. I can't believe that they'd replace her! It's just so stupid! She's so beautiful and charming- the perfect character to play the passionate role of Victoria seeking revenge on her mate. Bryce doesn't even come close to filling her place. Sucks so bad! I disagree with some of the comments about how Bryce is more suited to be Victoria, because when I was reading the Twilight saga, I imagined Victoria to be exactly like Rachelle and I was stunned at how perfectly fitted she was for the role whereas Bryce looks thin, kind and a weak person. Victoria is supposed to portray someone malicious, strong and quite scary. To me Rachelle was better but I would like to be proven wrong when I watch Eclipse.

Summit has made a HUGE mistake. You wouldn't replace Alan Richman in the Harry Potter films!! Horrors. What makes series films fun is having the same cast return year after year. Oh HELL NO! When Summit casted her as Victoria, they picked the perfect actress to play her! How could they do this! I reaaly don't see Bryce Howard as Victoria!

Where's the online petiton. I think it's so stupid how they reacted. I mean if anyone else said they had a 10 day overlap eg Robert or Kristen they wouldn't have done such a fuss over it!

and also, there's this feeling i get that this 10 day overlap was just an excuse to replace rachelle by bryce.. bad summit!
yeah, i know Bryce is one of the new rising stars now but i really really really hate it when productions change the actors originally playing the character in the following installments of films.. and much more that pisses me off is that giving petty and lame excuses!
Rachelle did great portraying Victoria! She became one of the casts that i looked forward to watching.

well, yeah, in the Harry Potter movies, the person playing Dumbledore (Richard Harris) was recast in the third film because he died. He was a great actor and a main character mind you. And what happened is acceptable to HP fans. But THIS?! this recasting of Victoria just because of this 10 day shoot, just 10 days my God?! why did Summit made it a complicated matter?! why can't they just give her somekind of a memo or warning or something but just don't fire her! that's just sooo rude!

I think Bryce looks great as victoria but COME ON! :( They can't just replace rachelle. she is such a open and funny person! I really like her! but as we know, summit can be quite weird at some times. I feel really bad for rachelle :(
