Man, this is why I love Carcass so much. No matter how much they change their sound, it's always fucking awesome. After Necrotism, I didn't think they could get better--then they go and release Heartwork, which took it in a completely different direction, and somehow managed to still be Carcass-level brutal and epic. And then after that they release Swansong, and all of a sudden, it's a completely different sound again, and they still pull it off better than ever.

Only Carcass could do it...

Look here's just a fact.....why I don't like death metal, black metal , whatever you wanna call it these days. It's because the "singer" cannot sing! Great guitars, drums, bass...key changes...great! No one knows how to sing anymore therefore you get this gutteral, phlegmy, awful noise that is supposed to be the lead singer? Sorry it sucks...never into it, never will be. And students are usually not exactly all people that misbehave. Second, metal is not too much accepted because the texts often ARE about violence no matter how seriously it is to be taken, and the music is also more violent than mainstream music. It is just less accessible because western civilization is used to melodic music and singing.
