thats a yaris with an auto transmission, thats why he can change gears on 180 degree turns. If it was manual, you should kill ABS and step on the brakes firmly gearshifting from 2nd to reverse. Black asphalt help a lot too!!
when i try to do the 180 in my yaris, i always grind the gear when i put it in revers cuz the thing is still spinning super fast, how do you put it in reverse so nice and qquick without slowing down?
also, when i do it (even in rain) the tires jump, so when im going completely sideways the inside of the car shakes like an earthquake. My tires are 32 psi front and back, does that make a difference when sliding?
I wish I could lol. I heard those Arab guys went over 100 MPH, while in my video I drifted at 50 MPH max, due to space shortage and a fear of flipping my car over. Also the Arab streets there are covered in sands, making them very slippery. Having a street like that nearby would be nice lol
lol...come to Saudi & i'll give ya special lessons on both driftin and drivin...btw, in saudi, you can see guys drifting on a daily basis...it becomes routines espicially in the weekends...
hahaha not bad bro.... i had an accident once thou... i was actually drifttin on a conner.. but didnt see water patch....so i skidded too much... and bang!! into the side of the bridge..
that was...connected from pet-bu-ri to Central Chid lom... -.-" i felt real crappy *sigh*
im surprised the car didn't flip over due to the height or the wheel studs didn't brake off yet! FF is assdgragging not drifting, i gotta visit this open spot when i go back to thailand, let me know where it is...
wow, never new a yaris could do that... props!

You might try engaging it in neutral before spinning around.

I think the surface was too rough (I guess you were drifting on a concrete floor). A large asphalted parking lot is like a dream lol.
You might also try over-inflating each tire 5-8 PSI more, but add an extra caution when you do that.

btw don't over-rev too much on this thing !!
u unless u used decent oil !!

i have the old yaris. id describe its handling as lift-off oversteer galore!
deancarr10 4 years ago
Yeah, mine too, the suspensions are too soft. And if I enter a corner with full-throttle, it'll just keep going straight lol.

Impact, Muangthong Thani. The large parking lot near the driving range.
