The original broadcast was live from the chopper; it showed Det. Wallace struck by the suspect. I didn't see it but that's what I was told. Something I didn't want to see anyway.

My father was a denver detective for 33 yrs and because of him i have a copy of the actual tape from the whole chopper chase.. my version includes stuff channel 4 couldnt show.. Hats off to denver police for taking care of this scumbag!!!

Yea... I taped this segment on my VCR from the news back in '88 when it aired and recently converted it so it could be posted. Kinda from the "lost tapes" in my collection.
