@MrCCRFan Yes, I use earplugs when I play. When I play songs I use "headphone earplugs", they block out sound really well and I hear the music perfectly. When I don't play songs I use noice-cancelling headphones. When I play with other people I don't use earplugs at all. If you don't hit the drums very hard, they won't be very loud.
Hey CaU2, you're right the audio sux, but the drums sound good...why, I clearly detect shades of Andy Ward (need longer hair, though). And the Camel icon smokes! Good luck with some more songs!
@whisky2roxy Thanks a lot Whisky! I'm in the process of making a couple more covers now. Do you have any suggestions as to what Camel songs I might cover? (Nothing too flashy, I'm not that good)
Excellent work Anton! Keep doing these vids because they are the best way to critique yourself and see what you need to work on. Practice,Practice,Practice. That's what I am doing. I'll be doing some recording soon on a Roland Electronic kit. I might be out doing gigs regularly in the near future.
@rickyon Thanks Rick! I'm looking forward to hearing you play again if you're going to upload some of your recordings. Great news about the gigs! What do you think about the sound my kit's got?
I've been uploading the old stuff regularly for the last couple of months. Of course they are from 24 years ago. I should have some newer stuff sometime in the near future. I like the way your kit sounds. I've always been partial to Pearl drums since that kit that i had 30 years ago. Oh, by the way I got an e-mail saying that the Roland kit shipped today! WooHoo!
@ProcolHarum1967 Thanks mate! I'm planning on doing some Camel covers soon... I'm going to start out easy with something like Mother Road, Lies, Stationary Traveller etc. Any suggestions?
do you play earplugs while playing ??
Because I think a drumset is very loud.

@camelandu2 It's not camel, but Procol Harum's Homburg has great drums and simple (and a great, great song to boot!).

@camelandu2 I don't know, I reckon Rhayader would be a good one to jam to.
