Gimme a break!!! Travis Barker is just a "standard, run of the mill", "dime a dozen" drummer who plays the "two four pocket". That's it!!! He's been marketed well. That's all. It's all about the marketing. Put him in a room with some of the great drummers of today... Dave W., Vinnie C., etc... there's no way he could even conceive of playing at that level of skill. My 15 year old son is a better drummer.

Being a talented drummer isn't about how fast you can play it's about the creativeness of the sound that they make with the drums. The best drummers aren't the speed metal drummers that can double bass 100+BPM the best are the ones who are the most diverse the ones that are creative and play slow and fast

i used to comment on videos of different drummers, saying "tomas haake is better than him, but this guy is still good in general." after all the negative remarks i received, i realized that it isnt about who is technically better than the next guy, but that if their drumming is good for the genre and suits the music well, then they're a good drummer. only drummers in the same category of music should be compared.

with that being said, i consider travis barker a pretty good drummer.
