Where did you get your stand? We had to make ours out of lumber from Home Depot lol.
@BritaniaRuleAgain well your way sounds good if u have the time and money to make a stand =) but i had bought mine at a local petsmart :). It was by Topfin and was made for 55-75 gallon tanks..the only downside to it was it is made of Particle board but so far its held up good it can hold up to 900 lbs. If you check petsmart online you could see it the item # is 2752311 and i had gotten the black one :).
i have a similar set up. i have an oscar, jack dempsey, green terror, fire mouth, parrot fish, 2 convicts, sucker fish, 4 tinfoil barbs and a blue blue lobster.
I use a basic rectangular entertainment stand from ikea to support my 55 gallon

Nice Oscars im thinking about getting some as well :) and a 40 gallon breeder..but if its not to much trouble what are the Dimensions of ur tank? =)
