  • HUZZAH!!!!

  • Long Live Ebenezer Scrooge!!!!

  • Long Live KFC!!!!

  • Happy Holidays!!!!

  • Merry Christmas!!!!

  • FTW

  • LOL

  • DUDE That is cheap Now

  • @ShadowKizz1 Yeah

  • take a price from high priced shopping at kentuc...NO WAIT it costs about abagillion dollars now!

  • All those boxes had to cost about $15,000 for pieces of chicken and biscuits. Biscuits + honey :)

  • I miss the old 80's boxes

  • @pbrskater26 Me 2

  • 9.29 for 15 piece bucket!?!? + like only like .02% tax?

NOW THE DEAL IS 10.00 + LIKE .08% TAX!

  • @omgwtfbbq6666 OMG!

  • Was this Australian?

  • imagine him the next morning... all I have to say is... Ow! lol

  • I hated it years ago when I realized that they had changed the gravy recipe. Never eat there now.

  • chuck norris dosen't go to kfc, kfc goes to him.

  • how was that possible that u could have had a bucket of nuggets in US for 10 dollars and in Poland for example for that 10 bucks u had to work couple of weeks at that time?? i will never understand how it works...

  • Personally, I think this greasy stuff is wretched. Just puking awful.

  • shit that is cheap chicken

  • Is gonna be a Kentucky Fried Christmas! lol... still love the KFC...

  • DAMN! Where can I buy a 15 piece bucket of KFC for $9.29?.....Better get to work on that time machine!

  • KFC sucks now adays. The chicken was bigger plumper tastier than the small greasy garbage they serve now. The Col. would roll in his grave to see the crap they serve now.

  • @BiblicalApathy I blame the mass immigrant increase and employment at fast foods chains. Also corporations are using hormones in their foods, and producing lesser quality foods. Well if your friend found maggots that restaurant should be reported, and whoever cooked that chicken should be fired for not taking notice.

  • @BiblicalApathy

Your friend must have ordered the Extra Protein Surprise Meal.

  • The prices seem comparable with today's prices.

  • @BiblicalApathy sick.....

  • $9 for a 15 peice bucket???? holy sh*t i'm gonna go back in time and buy like 4 buckets XD

  • @sasprawler I'm going to guess this commercial was made around 1987 or so...$9 would be the equivalent of paying roughly $17.50 in today's money. Not much of a deal considering that you can buy a bucket of chicken for $10 on a Sunday today.

  • @girlienerd oh yeah i didn't take that into consideration..... :/ stuff was cheaper back then

  • shit, $9.29 for a 15 piece pack bring back those days!!!!

  • this could be a Kwanzaa commercial

  • @dakotaames hahahaha XD

  • scrooge is gonna have a massive heart attack.

  • FNC

    Fried Nigger Chickens

  • 'ol Scrooge don't fuck around when it comes to his fried chicken

  • Down in Kentucky, we love us some KFC! :P lol

  • i pass by KFC every day and never eat there

  • I remember the old original smaller carry out KFC restaurant in my city. The chicken was good there, but i swear the taste went downhill when the restaurant moved to a brand new building with a dining area a few blocks away.

  • I used to love Kentucky Fried Chicken, when I was little. We didn't get it often, mind you, but when we did, it was considered a special treat. One weird thing I still remember about the store near my dad's house, is that when I was a kid, inside the salad-bar, there was some sort of a "bouncy-ball," going back and forth. Sounds really stupid, I know, but it was there. Never figured out why it was there, and I still don't know, to this day. Can't eat KFC now. Gives me an upset stomach. : (

  • KFC's a hell of a drug!

  • The weird thing is I remember this commercial as a kid. so it has to be around 1986-1987 btw I was like 3 years old.....!

  • 5.59 for 9 piece, and the Chicken was better quality aswell.

  • I have not been to KFC in probably 3 or 4 years. The quality of the food and the service is lousy.

  • Back when they didn't change the taste of their chicken. Now a days nothing taste like it use to. Mcdonalds fries, Movie theater popcorn and Kentucky Fried Chicken.

  • damn chicken was cheap back them

  • 5.59 for a 9 piece damn!!!!!!!!!!!

  • did he just say BLOODY HIGH PRICES lol

  • DAMN 9.29 for a 15 piece you fucking right its a Kentucky fried christmas

  • i love kfc, if i eat too much i get mildly dizzy and want to go to sleep,,,hugo

  • @455gs1 + kfc not like how it use to be, in the 70s was more crispy and tastey, very rear now to get that crispy tastey battar mmmmmmmm i think i might go down the road get meat pie

  • right when it showed part 0:29 i said "oh no the poor old dude is gonna die from a heart attack on christmas"

  • IT WAS LIKE 30$ for 15 WHEN WE WENT DANM!!!! THE WORLD IS SOOOO SELFISH :(

  • @soulsista3219 isn't that rediculous?!?!?!

  • Ask yourself is it REALLY worth the gut cramps and diahrea afterwards?

Now give your head a shake and eat a carrot fattie...

  • I like to watch KFC commercials when im hungry

    ._.

  • @macear LOL!!!! That's awesome!

  • i think this is actually a 90s commercial. the prices and video quality match up better

  • KFC should have a dollar menu

  • Comment removed

  • I would like to have some chicken Col. Sanders made. The chicken that KFC has now is not it. KFC uses the lowest grade chicken allowed by law.

  • dude now you get 10 peices for like 30 bucks

  • Modern KFC is garbage compared to the food they served years ago. They would be smart to go back to making it taste the way it should.

  • @Rlowe928 KFC Throwback- I like it!!!

  • @Rlowe928

ya wanna know why it tastes like crap?

(redneck voice) the gov'ment done and took all the trans fats

  • @Rlowe928

I once found maggots inside a wing. So fucking disgusted.

  • @Alucardiff Ewwww that makes me not wanna go back.I don't care what they say.The KFC chicken doesn't tates he same.

  • @Rlowe928 Try the Zinger Salad... it is really tasty :D :D

  • @Rlowe928 are you retarded, years ago they killed the chickens in the most inhumane ways, breaking their necks and ripping their heads off and boling them alive. The kfc chicken is more expensive now because peta cracked down on them and now their forced to kill them in humane ways thus raising the prices and changing the flavor somewhat

  • @Rlowe928

I know. It started getting bad ever since they began calling themselves "KFC" by name. My guess is, the name shortening was part of a push to cut back on expenses and be more "hip". Back in the 80's the chicken was cooked to perfection, but now it's just over-fried and tastes like it's been under the lamp for days. They don't give a damn anymore.

However, I must say the grilled chicken is usually really good especially since they started only cooking it to order in most shops.

  • @AllPro777

Hmmm... here in Southern Calif. KFC has excellent chicken [shhhh..but I like Alberstonm's the best. Cheaper, cheep cheep, too..others may disagree.]

  • damn, thats expensive price for the 1980's

  • @noral05

Oh no it's not. There's meal deals that cost $19.99 and you don't get nearly as much chicken as you used to back then. If you could get 15 piece of chicken at $9.29 today, KFC wouldn't even know how to keep up with the demand.

  • You forgot to adjust the tracking on you're VHS Player.

  • Col. Sanders is the ghost of Christmas past.

  • kfc used to have the best bread

  • now its 15$ for 15 pieces wtf.

  • Now if only KFC chicken tasted like it use to back in the 1980's, I'd be a happy man.

  • Looks like that miserable bastard Scrooge is going to have a BUH HEART ATTACK with all that fried chicken he bought. Poor ol'd schlub won't see it coming.

  • holy fuck 10 dollars for 15? I would be eating a bucket a day. O wait.... i do that now. Excuse me i have to go get my insulin shot due to my diabetus.

  • KFC, Taco Bell... what else do we need in life? And they have Pepsi and Mountain Dew!!! The world is right...

  • im vegetarian,but i got to admit.THAT'S A GOOD PRICE!

  • @awesomestation3 Translated into these days economy, it would be 15 dollars ish.

  • 15 PIECE BUCKET FOR 9$. WTF!!!

  • this commercial has an alternate ending where the scrooge eats all those boxes of chicken stacked up and then dies of heart failure.

  • My friend is living in Switzerland at the moment. She had a craving for KFC, so they drove 300km to the nearest restaurant to get some!!! Fair enough I say.

  • I wish they had the same prices like they had back then

  • kfc back in the late 80's taste different from today.

  • Thank you! I knew it wasn't just nostaglia. Even when it's at its freshest today, it still doesn't taste as good

  • yeah its tastes much better now dont it - its because its Halal now so the meat is higher quality

  • I don't remember pioneer chicken.....

My Aunt had friends who sold friers to KFC....was told they used choice birds, (at that time, anyhow).

Only bad thing is it's fried, which we all know means it's a treat, not daily food.

The coating/skin is fatty, salty. Great fries there

Elmira, Ontario location was #1 for quality, a few years running. Used to eat there weekly. A

It was the 1st fast food I ever ate. at 3 yrs old. A+W' Chubby chicken is similar

Nowadays, its Swiss Chalet!! yumm yumm :p

  • Look at all of that TRANS FAT.

  • Anyone remember for a short while back in the late 70's, KFC had a very limited run of selling BBQ Riblets?

  • scrooge o_0

  • extra crispy is`nt as crispy as it used to be.

Whatever happened to the Foster Farms chicken restaurant?

  • Wow! $9.29 for a bucket? It costs £10 for a bargain bucket where I am.

  • Kentucky Fried Christmas! Ya baby!

  • Good warm hearted feeling commercial ! What ever happened to pioneer Chicken ? Does any body remember Pioneer Chicken ? K F C is good ! I heard they use mutated chickens with extra limbs and you could only get mutated value meals in original recipe ! I heard the Colonel was a mutant ? whats going to happen in 2012 are wee going to be able to eat at K F C ? Kriogenicaly engineerd Farmed Chicken Thats what kfc stands 4 What would the world b like without K FC its bad enuff without the colonel

  • Yeah, I remember Pioneer Chicken...It wasn't that bad...I remember liking the chicken strips.

  • AWESOME BILL YT

  • That's a good price.

  • Great stuff! I had some today!!

  • can you imagine the shitz you would get from all that KFC ...You can only eat KFC maybe once every three months safely you know ..anymore then that and you run the risk of destroying your anus

  • I'm a big fan of KFC, because of how well cooked their chicken is. But, ONE thing is for sure, I would NEVER eat that amount of chicken. (Please note: I'm referring to how much chicken Scrooge was going to eat)

  • Prices haven't changed that much.

  • The quality of chicken probably has, though.

  • If he eats that much chicken, he'll get a stomach ache.

  • Love me some KFC and mashed potatoes right now.

  • @Manthing32 No Coleslaw!

  • I love KFC!!!! it´s just 7 minutes from my home!!

  • @Toerna24 it takes 8 or 9 to get to mine.

  • @Toerna24 its right next to my house

  • KFC is greasy, salty and the chicken is moist to the point of falling apart when picked up.

Church's chicken has gone through a renovation over the past 6 years or so.

Of course you wouldn't know of Pete's Chicken unless you were from San Antonio Texas...It's pretty good you ough to give it a try when in San Antonio.

  • 15 piece bucket , 9$ 29 cents, thts so cheap, and back then the secret recipe was so much better than now, geez whatever happended lol

  • man im so sad

im up here in WA state and theres no churches up here that i can find

its much better for alot less

  • I prefer Church's chicken or Pete's Chicken.

KFC is too salty, the mashed potatoes taste bland, and the chicken is too greasy or dry.

You can't even buy anything for $5 bucks at KFC except for the snackers...Doesn't fill up, though.

    Whatever happen to Pioneer Chicken?

  • That's not true. KFC is greasy, yeah, but from what I've heard, Church's Chicken is shit nowadays and I've never heard of Pete's Chicken.

  • why would you think that FRIED chicken would NOT be greasy?? they submerge the chicken in grease, aka soak in in grease, why wouldn't it be greasy??? LOL

  • videoluvr424: No, no, I said KFC IS greasy, dear.

  • that it is, but if you remove the skin off the original recipe its actually less fatty than the grilled, how? no clue...

  • MiltonPunkette21: i know, that is my point, fried chicken is supposed to be greasy if you fry it in grease, yo!

  • snack boxes 1.99

Snacker COMBO $4.49 W/ Tax incl 2 snackers, wedges and med drink

    2pc Leg and Thigh w/ Biscuit $3.50

    BBQ sandwich $1.99 COMBO 4.49

  • Hahaha same here!

    2pc grilled meal $3.99, $4.99 w/ med drink

8pc bbq boneless wings with 2 sides, 1 biscuit, and a med drink $6.99

    ^_^

  • haha badass! we dont have that 8pc bbq boneless combo tho :(, ours is 6 boneless 1 side and med drink for like 6.99 as well haha

  • BS! the prices went up for the same BS, they are happy now we still eat their crap but we pay more. that is disgusting

  • 9.29$ for 15 HOLY SHIT ! MAKE ME A TIME MACHINE !

  • @G05Box People always talk about how bad inflation was in the 80s. But that's BS. Thats just to distract you from the truth and to make today's times seem OK. In truth. Things were much more affordable in the 80s and decades past.

  • @AdamCampetti True, but you have to remember in the 80s, minimum wage was about $3.35, which in today's terms would be about $5.

  • @crocetti1984 Minimum wage varied in different places. 4.25 to 5.00 in other places.

  • @G05Box I know! You can't even get a 7 piece dark meat for that now!

  • @G05Box couldnt agree more

  • @G05Box yeah and how bout the dollar was worth more.

  • @Slatrelle About 60% more to be exact......!

  • wow, you can't even buy a Big Crunch now for $5.59

  • @rezek71 ur a douche

  • i love fried chicken

  • woahwoahwoah 9$ for 15 peices and now its 18$ for 15 peices

  • Iz chemical chicken. "unthink" what you eat for 5 dollars. Good day.

  • love the price... now you are paying $25 for 15 pieces of chicken..

  • and for the cherry on the cake bigg I'll be eating a 8 piece origional and crispy right in front of them murder tasty murder

  • wtf???

  • Did anyone else think the narrator didn't quite get his consonants right when pronouncing "Bucket" at 0:21???

  • He's saying "Bucket". We all can absolutely hear that so don't try to be funny.

  • do you really type like this? what the hell are you saying. lol. omg i bet you have graduated high school too

  • Don't boycott KFC..BOYCOTT PeTA!!!

  • @bigg3469 - Popeye's is much better than this place. Bigger pieces, fresher chicken, hotter, tastier. You can also get mashed potatoes with gravy as a side if you want. Anyway, why was KFC so expensive even back then? You can get it way cheaper at Walmart.

  • @BayviewFinch - You've really got problems if you think Walmart chicken is better than KFC. Walmart chicken should be classified as CHICKEN SHIT!!!

  • @shooster11 - I've never had fried chicken from Walmart. My point was that Popeye's is superior, and that given KFC's record, particularly in the U.S., it's best to go for other places whenever possible. Thanks anyway.

  • @BayviewFinch popeyes sucks, long live KFC

  • @sasprawler - Not in my experience. As I said, Popeye's chicken is bigger, more fresh, more hot, and more crispy, which is how I like it. They want to keep their customers satisfied. If you're the kind of person that loves KFC, then Popeye's will simply convert you because they're even better. I would suggest trying both again under similar circumstances. One day have KFC for lunch, then the next day have Popeye's.

  • @BayviewFinch ok to be honest i've never tried popeyes and i was just just kidding with you. And if you like it more than KFC thats fine with me that's just your opinion. I live in Canada and there arn't any popeyes where i live so i'll try it next time i'm in the USA :)

  • @sasprawler - I live in Canada too. At least in the Toronto area there are several Popeye's. No need to go to that cesspool to the south.

  • @BayviewFinch i live in Calgary Alberta and there arn't any here

  • @sasprawler - So you have to travel for fast food. C'est la vie.

  • @BayviewFinch ???

  • @BayviewFinch The prairie is a cesspool? Oh, darn it!!! What would Laura Ingalls, Lawrence Welk, or Bob Barker have to say?

  • @rchookie - No. The U.S.A. is. I'm not sure who those people are, but I'm quite sure they're insignificant.
