With an airsoft spring 280fps I put the nozzle right into my ear and shot it in both ears... It was pretty stupid and the ringing sound was wat I heard for 2 days straight.

@secretname911 The ringing is a result of the air from the gun putting an extreme amount of stress on your eardrum (essentially stretching it). The exact same concept happens with a Flashbang (and Concussion grenades). Yes, that wasn't the smartest of ideas; the fact that you created a near vacuum could have been potentially permanently damaging to your hearing. Hopefully your hearing is alright now. flashbangs expand the occular capularies and make your vision blurry and white and the piercing sound blocks your hearing, even after the effects are over you might notice your vision "flashing" like your blinking 10 times a second

@ResidentEvilDeadAim Yup, it's the same thing. The concussion from the grenade(and also the kick to your ear) puts an extreme amount of stress on the eardrum in a very short amount of time. The ringing is due to strenuous activity that occurs on the eardrum. Furthermore, that kid who beat you up needs to get a serious life.

I have been threw a flash/stun grenade before. Nothing went black, it was white with little vision. When vision came back to me everything was still slow and dissorted. Also i could still hear the ringing for over an hour but after about 20-30 seconds i could hear other stuff and not just ringing sound. A friend of mine created it and used it on me as a prank even though he never used one before he used it against me and thought his "pressure grenade" would just make a loud noise.

@Maxh0506 It's as real as possible, no, it wasn't a real flashbang otherwise the camera can't pick up the actual effect it has on a human eye. Read about some stuff about the eye and how it processes it's information to the brain. It's a theoretical simulation, obviously, not a practical one. In short, I tried my best using some scientific knowledge to reenact it's effects, since a lot of games we see have either inaccurate or fake(BSed) flashbang effects.

although real flashbang grenade effects can last up to a few hours so if you get flashed completely randomly (and of course your say a soldier or criminal) lets just say your fucked

My brother got hit by one before from some training thing they did and messing around in Kordova, or is it Cordova? And he said this is pretty much dead on. He remembers it being just like that. The ringing was terrible in his opinion.

This is actually pretty accurate, I have been hit by one (from a request of mine :p) and it is a bit like that. The one difference is it looks like what you saw right before it went off for about 2 seconds and then you see white/dark. The ringing sound is spot on though...

Although i have not been hit with a flashbang so it makes it all 99% true at the most unless proved otherwise but yea. Aside from probably making your ears bleed(which i really couldnt illustrate) everything is there

@blackwallstreet49 Yes! Coming back to this comment, loss of vision and sound will completely disorient someone and put them into almost automatic submission (if not already). The flashbang and concussion grenades have a huge impact on the fluids in the head that keep you aware of your position (i.e standing up, laying down) and would very well make someone woozy and dizzy just like I've seen from personal experiences in other peoples comments on this video.

from what i understand with basic knowledge and a bit of logical thinking its pretty accurate

when the eyes are overstimulated u dont see white like in most games ur vision literally goes out

sound is accurate too cuz ur pretty much on the line of blowin out ur ear drums if not already and the ringing occurs(im sure its happened to u b4) and obviously ur eyes have to refocus.

the blackout is exaggerated and the bang wasnt loud enough
