I appreciate your posting this. I used to play tetris as a kid for hours and hours a week. The type 3 music was my favorite. Just the other day I was attempting to remind my mom about how I really liked this music, and she mentioned she didn't remember it at all. Today, I stumbled across it here, and played it for her. She had the biggest smile. Thanks for the memories. :-)

I loved playing Tetris to this one song. The first type I didn't like, and the second made me feel like I had to quickly put down the pieces making me rush. But the THIRD, makes me feel at ease and relaxed.

The music is said to be Bach's Third French Suite. It sounds diferentely (and much faster) on piano, but they do sound somewhat alike.
