I've heard about this surgery on the Tyra Banks show. A young woman in England had this surgery done and her eyesight is fucked. Personally I think it's bananas if u wanna change what God created. Like love who u are, love how ur created. Removable contacts are one thing. Surgically implanted eyes well....Like I said, its bananas.

The procedure of implants in the eyes has not yet been perfected. I honestly believe that the Panamanian company were too quick to launch. Yes, there are so many self image issues. This country is such a melting pot, which is good, but this is also part of the issue, We in this county have a standard of beauty. You may want to do more research before you make statements regarding this little boy based off a unreliable source.Also, there are laws that surgeons must abide by, based off of ethical codes that are in the best interest of their patients.Loren who be considered an adolescent and they would not have performed this type of surgery, that is as high risk .

I'm Persian and I wear prescription colored contacts all the time for 2 main reasons. One, I don't like to wear glasses and two, I do feel they make me prettier. Colored contacts don't only make your eyes a different, but make the irises appear larger and basically come out more.

I agree with most of what you said but I don't think its the same to wear color contacts which you can take right out....have contacts implanted in your eyes for a permanent change...thats diff to me. I think wearing color contacts is no different than changing your hair color or wearing hair weaves--its a simple change that you can change back if you want. I don't see a big deal with it really. Implanting a diff eye color is a new extreme, just like plastic surgery. I wouldn't do it.

i LOVE my eyes XD they are naturally blue however they change color with my mood hehehe... the madder i get the darker they get and if i'm completely happy they are almost crystal clear :) when i'm sleepy or tired they are foggy or smokey, if i'm depressed they get dull, almost grey lol... and if i'm absolutely pissed, they are pitch black... if i wanted to change the color... i'd just use the eye drops rather than contacts lol... think of the painless options people XD

Girl yes! everything I thought right in a nutshell. :) lol I seen the video way back and it saddened me because she's so stunning and she didn't have to. On the Tyra Show I seen an episode where these people went to Panama and got the surgery and then Tyra got them the best eye doctor to fix their eyes. Good video.

Unfortunately, people don't realize that beauty comes in all forms. What one may find beautiful another might not. Like the old saying goes, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." My brother has blonde hair and green eyes and to him it's not beautiful and he goes for women with dark hair and dark eyes. Often, people will stop him and tell him how beautiful he is but he doesn't see it. I just find it frustrating that people feel like they have to change themselves. =[

I'm Persian and I wear prescription colored contacts all the time for 2 main reasons. One, I don't like to wear glasses and two, I do feel they make me prettier. Colored contacts don't only make your eyes a different, but make the irises appear larger and basically come out more.

I think your eye color is not seperated with u as a whole person. It is part of identity, part of your beautiful self. changing eye color is hard psychologicaly. You knoe yourself , recognize yourself and are used to yourself by your appearance.

I guess the reason ppl thought hazel eyes would have looked more natural on the young lady who had the procedure...I agree actually but to each their own. I personally have worn color contacts and I wouldn't go that far to get implants of a new eye color. In some cases it can be self-hate but for ppl wanting a change here and there i don't think its a big deal...permanent changes I wouldn't do thats a diff story...

I agree with most of what you said but I don't think its the same to wear color contacts which you can take right out....have contacts implanted in your eyes for a permanent change...thats diff to me. I think wearing color contacts is no different than changing your hair color or wearing hair weaves--its a simple change that you can change back if you want. I don't see a big deal with it really. Implanting a diff eye color is a new extreme, just like plastic surgery. I wouldn't do it.

Well obviously blue/green/non brown eyes are a white trait... but as a white person with blue/gray eyes I'd LOVE to have that bright light blue color. Do I wanna look more white? More like a white person?

i LOVE my eyes XD they are naturally blue however they change color with my mood hehehe... the madder i get the darker they get and if i'm completely happy they are almost crystal clear :) when i'm sleepy or tired they are foggy or smokey, if i'm depressed they get dull, almost grey lol... and if i'm absolutely pissed, they are pitch black... if i wanted to change the color... i'd just use the eye drops rather than contacts lol... think of the painless options people XD

I don't think it's just white people who do things to themselves. I change the color of my eyes but not permanently with just regular color contacts because my eyes are 2 different colors. The reason i did it was because every time i met someone they would ask are you blind or what happened because some people with 2 color eyes are blind. I just got tired of it and put the hazel color because it is the closest to both of my eye colors green and brown

What a lot ... too many people DO NOT know is that blue and green eyes are not limited to whites. There are pure blood africans - nice dark chocolate skin and blue/green eyes. It's just not very common. We are beautiful people and altering ourselves in this manner [in my opinion] is an insult to our Creator.
