  • Sonpit Thank You, I hope all plumbers take the time to post unusual problems so we all can learn, TY TY

  • @MrRobert92129 One more thing ... Not all, but most of my vibration problem occurred when using my kitchen sink faucet. I found that the valve underneath my sink was not opened all the way. After I opened it, any vibration i still had seemed to stop.

  • @MrRobert92129 I have placed the instructions I went by to adjust the manifold pressure in the description of this video for you. Let me know if you need anymore help.

  • sonpit: Do you have any instructions on how to set the manifold pressures correctly? Mine sound EXACTLY like yours and it's driving me mad. Thanks in advance.

  • It sounds like it's about to explode. Thank God I canceled my tankless water heater order before they came. I think they are all pieces of shit and there is NO SAVINGS because they are propane hogs.

  • Turns out the manifold pressure was off and we did not properly check it the first time. You have to set the minimum and maximum settings using the buttons inside the unit. You do not simply check the pressure. You must use the manifold buttons.

  • Just beat on it, that always works.

  • I'm not an expert with this stuff, but what I think is happening is .. The Noritz unit thinks it is ignited during the first ignition and continues to push gas into the chamber even though it is not ignited. 10 or more seconds later, the igniter turns on again but this time the chamber has more gas in it than it needs and it causes the vibration due to too much gas in the chamber.
