  • Very thought-provoking and well worth watching.

Don't get caught up on whether it's criticising the original song (pretty irrelevant) - focus on the key issue highlighted - we need to disentangle ourselves from complicity in an unjust system. With alacrity and diligence!

  • The song is perpetuating a myth, Africa is not a barren wasteland struck buy famine where nothing grows. It is a major source of food production for the Western World which is essentially robbing the people of Africa, literally taking food out of their mouths and money out of their pockets.

But it doesn't have to be like this. That is the message of the video. You are free to disagree with this of course.

  • I agree about the validity of free-range but disagree that they are different products. Both are more ethical. One ensures chickens are better looked after the other people. Many, many people buy free range eggs without thinking to buy any fairtrade products too.

  • This is great. I think its good to see someone looking past political correctness and actually saying what at least a lot of us believe. I can understand peoples heartstrings being tugged by the sappy videos some people like to show, however this just shows again that personal research is the key to understanding.

  • I have rated it and thanks a very important message!

  • Absolutely excellent. Blantantly obvious, expelling the myths and so, so long overdue. Well done!

  • Please rate this video so it has a chance of getting 'featured'

  • Oh so true Mark - will be passing this forward
