further more why is the British public so angry/ disappointed with haye the media hype has a lot to do with it i think.he took some good shots off a good heavyweight and yes was schooled a little but didnt do to bad. I think it could be a case of him getting the chance to quick maybe and not maybe being naturally big enough. My only fear now is all the belts are with the klitchsko's what now for heavyweight boxing?haye is re-assessing retirement would a re-match go the same way.
@crookalistair Problem #1 People in general don't want to buy or watch the Klitschkos. Problem #2 is people are now wise to Haye's ways with the real big guys, first with Valuev (who Holyfield beat more decisively first) and now this fight. Nobody wants to see it again. Personally I'd rather see Haye fight the winner of the Vitali-Adamek fight because either of those two would make Haye actually fight which is what he promised everybody he would make Wlad do.
good prediction islander. I didn't know how it would go but there u go maybe i believed some of the hype. Personally though i know haye was outclassed but i think he did well to not get knocked out by a lot bigger man who is underrated and has a good knockout ratio. why o why though did hayebring up his toe ? iv seen the pictures and it looks a mess but (and im british) embarrassed he mentioned it take it on the chin david like a vlad jab.
Good video man. I disagree when you say time is Mayweather's worst enemy and you put him in the same category as Roy Jones. Roy relied mostly on his athleticism and that's why he fell off so quickly when his physical abilities declined but Floyd relies mostly on his ring intelligence, his speed is a great tool but not his most important one. I think his ring IQ will allow him to fight at the elite level for a long time.
@balistik94 We've been down this road before. BOTH Mayweather and Jones rely on INCREDIBLE REFLEXES which is at the core of ALL technically sound/elite boxers these two are no different than Robinson, Ali, Holmes, Leonard, and Whitaker. Once time, age, and inactivity start to set in they lose a 1/2 step then a full step then you get Lebedev-Jones Jr. or Camacho-Leonard. Believe me Floyd ain't any smarter than Jones Jr., Leonard, Whitaker, Holmes or Ali and especially Robinson.
@boxinginfo I don't believe incredible reflexes is at the core of Hopkins' or Ward's style. You take away Floyd's speed and you got a welterweight version of Hopkins. Floyd is indeed smarter Jones and his style is more sophisticated.
@MarkLip Actually I'm still right about Haye's lack of a chin, and backbone, and testicles, and intestines, etc. His chin stayed in tact because he made sure he never had to be hit with any of Wlad's shots full force what a PATHETIC EFFORT. I shouldn't be surprised after all what was he a Male Model turned boxer who couldn't compete with the world class amateurs of his time?
@boxinginfo lol, even when you're right (well you picked the favourite and got the outcome wrong) you sound like a grumpy old man. I don't think I've ever seen you smile.
@ChesterDrawers2010 Wait until the next video little buddy! :> I want to hear all the David Haye sympathizers and their reasons for the way their COWARD performed, the guy is a FRAUD plain and simple.
@boxinginfo So your next video is basically going to be you bragging about how you predicted Wlad would win and moaning about David Haye? Might give that one a miss.
@ChesterDrawers2010 No the next video I'm going to report the facts about your charge and you'll see me SMILE. BTW feel free to give all the videos a miss if you have such thin skin when it comes to the former mens model. What I find funny is Haye took many dives without Klitschko even hitting him. Curious behavior from somebody talking as big as he has for the past 2.5 years. What a waste.
@boxinginfo I'm not even a big David Haye. I just don't like people saying "I told you so" after predicting the favourite result. I also wouldn't want to hear you bitching and moaning even if you were talking about fighters that I hate like Khan, Mayweather etc. In this way, I'm sorry to say, you are very much like Dan Rafael (maybe 100 pounds lighter though :-) )
@ChesterDrawers2010 Listen, you don't know me or obviously my work, I've never said I told anybody so after picking any fight. It's the stupid idiots of the world(you may or may not be one of them) who fell for all the British media hype of David Haye whether your a fan of his or not. so many people PROMISED me that if he connected on Wlad once then it was going to be lights out.I know you are secretly one of them.Do us all a favor and let me know you don't want to participate on my vids anymore.
@boxinginfo great videos. very informative, really helpful for a guy like me who's trying to get into boxing more. were u surprised that haye came out with his toe excuse? i couldn't believe it, i mean anyone with a little bit of intelligence knows that something like that can ruin your reputation for your entire career.
@boxinginfo Stop insulting me with this nonsense. Did I want Haye to KO Wlad? Absolutely. But I have never said, or even implied, that Haye would win, let alone win with the first punch he landed.
One thing, incase it has not been mentioned, is that most of Hayes recent knockouts have come by clipping guys in the back of the head multiple times... I could swear he got Barrett down at least twice with blatant whacks to the back... Even the Ruiz fight -- Except for the first time he got him with the straight right-hand.... the other knockdowns were total whacks to the side.... Islander, you raise a good point questioning Haye's power....
cont)... Haye might have a better variety of punches in attack and defensively he's got head movement able to slip punches well for a 200+ lbs-er unfortunately with wladimir being so awkward to hit you can give haye the edge in defense either.
Mentally: Haye has got under his skin, which will work to his advantage accompanied with adam booth who is a good actician since wladimir is slightly better at carrying out an emmanuel steward game plan than Haye an adam booth (he's only done it once)
@BoxingExcellence2 Question, who is Adam Booth? What resume does he bring to be even mentioned in the same breath as the legendary trainers? A guy who makes videos on YouTube says Booth is great with no record to show and all of a sudden Adam Booth is some kind of mastermind? Look for all those people who are upset with Klitschko's competition or lack there of, it's still light years better than that of Haye's. I can't wait for this to be over and done with.
Physically - Klitschko has is a better 12 round fighter than haye, and has done it with consistent pace with chambers, Ibragimov etc, he has the edge in condition, natural strength, height and reach and of course power these outweigh haye physical attributes such agility, hand speed, foot speed and athleticism.
Technically - Its ALL Klitschko former Olympian with the amateur pedigree, fundamentally sound, turns over each punch properly, haye might have a better variety (cont..
Professor Islander - Good to see you back. Klitschko is going to knock Haye out cold in the mid rounds, and I for one will be glad. Haye may be my fellow Brit, but he is a mouthy piece of crap.
I think speed is the key, the punches you don't see are the ones that hurt the most. Also if klitchsko gets hit on the chin he might not go down, but his senses will be scrambled and he might take more than one shot after the first one.
@88stockmj You're forgeting 1 thing, when has Haye ever had a guy as big, strong, and athletic tie him up wrestle him around and put his weight on him? He can't win fighting like he did vs. Valuev he has to take major chances.
@boxinginfo Totally agree and if wlad lands on him its all over. I just believe that its going to be a case of someone getting exposed and I think wlads going to be on the end of it. Lots of people look invincible until they come up against someone who is all wrong for them. I'll put my neck on the line and say haye by ko before 6.
OK don't switch off, this is another haye comment from the UK. There is one scenario you didn't cover. What if Haye slips past the jab and gets inside (which he can do) and he hits Klitchko with two's and maybe threes and gets back out. Thus winning on points? I admit it's unlikely, but Haye is a good boxer with better head movement than most heavyweights so it can be done. Haye has more than a punchers chance, he has a "boxers" chance.
@wannasaysummit What you and everybody else fails to realize is that sure Haye can take the jab away or the right hand. But, in order for him to get close enough to land he's going to get hit with a hook off the jab or an uppercut or a lead right hand. For all we know he might be able to stand up to it, I have my doubts. Look at how hard and square Haye clocked Maccarinelli and he was still standing until a follow up barrage put him down. He's not going to get the chance to land multiple punches
hi ,great show. i been talking with co workers and they laugh at me because . i told then , puerto rican boxers need to train in the altitude. like vazquez senior did in the past. he went almost always to toluca mexico. and i remember the fight with eloy rojas he was losing ,but thanks to his condition he won by ko in the 11round. maybe i'm wrong but i think is a good idea.i'm not saying they gonna win always , but for sure they gonna have more stamina. klickshko by ko in 3 . hi from p.r.!!!!
I think people are gonna be surprised how effective Haye will be in this fight. Haye will take away Wlad's jab and that's half the battle won. Wlad needs to land that jab and feel comfortable to land his right hand. I think Haye will use a lot of lateral movement and bullrush in bursts. This fight will be somewhat similar to Pascal/Dawson. I think Haye counters Wlad with a right hand over the jab and hurts him in this fight. It's gonna be a tentative and cagey opening.
Haye is Fraudley's big/little brother. All bluster, and no muster.
He MIGHT try a sneak attack here and there. But, otherwise, he's planning to run all fight, lose the decision, mouth off about Vlad being "afraid to engage", then campaign for a fight with Vitali (which he will get).
Straight up, Vlad is about 2-1/2 to 1 favourite. Good deal. I'd evaluate the real odds as about 5-1.
@lane99 I'm with you when he gets too close Wlad is going to lean and push down on the back of Haye's neck and tire him out even more. Qoxiivi asked me about Dwyer's video where he says this should be an even money fight, some people are off there rocker. Adam Boothe what has he done besides work with Haye? Danny Williams? George Groves? And, people think he's some sort of mastermind? This sort of reminds me of the Gerry Coony circus 1982 all pomp and circumstance and a huge monster let down.
@boxinginfo Even money?? I made a comment here couple months ago that I thought the odds for this fight would be distorted by Haye's big mouth, and by his being British (they see their fighters through rose coloured glasses). But 1-1? Would have been shocked if the official odds ever went that low.
Well, if Dwyer or anyone else wants to take Haye straight up, send me a message. I'll cover you.
@jarvobrrrrap NEWS FLASH for you BOTH Tua and Sanders have/had WAY more power than David Haye. Haye's power is OVERRATED. Still doesn't mean he can't win because he certainly can that's why they fight the fights. My problem is these idots and I mean IDIOTS who think that the 1st time Haye touches the Klitschko chin he's going down and out, its absolutely asinine and absurd. Personally at this point in time I think Klitschko's chin is better than Haye's who even Barrett dented it in their fight.
@boxinginfo I absolutely agree with you on Haye's power it is extremely overrated. I just want the fight to be over already, because over here in the UK it's getting unbearable with these idiot Haye fans (I'm not talking about Boxing fans, rather the casual fans). Who think Wlad has a glass chin and can't take a punch, as soon as Haye hits him it is over. The one thing that really gripes me is how Haye's fans say Wlad has only faced bums, and yet they think Haye has faced elite competition.
As a fan of ward, I'd have to say I agree with the home cooking to an extent. But I don't think having the fight in the UK is any better. That's just trading one extreme for another. There needs to be a neutral site. I mean look at what happened to Hopkins when he fought pascual the first time. Although the boxing fan in me just wants to see ward go to England and overcome any possible bs. It is the mark of a truly great fighter.
Have to agree that almost celebrating Haye as a comparative revolution in boxing was a bit much, but I do feel that he and Adam Booth bring something different to the table. In my gut, and going with everything I feel to be true, I see no reason to believe why this will be much different to all other Wlad's fights. However, I just have a feeling that we might see something surprising this Saturday. I don't know, maybe it's just the hype; perfectly possible. Anyway, we'll see. Peace.
Hi again, Stork. Just interested (not trying to stir things up at all, literally just interested) in what you think of dwyer's (GamblersAdvisory) take on this fight.
@Qoxiivi Ok I watched it. The most recent one was pure fantasy comparing Haye to Clay v Liston or the legendary Bill Russell is insane. If anybody is revolutionary it was Evander Holyfield, Haye is just a cheap imitation. Understand I don't think Wlad rates all time. How in the hell is Haye going to hit without being hit from way outside, I'm sorry lunging in doesn't get it done. If I'm wrong than I'm wrong. I like Dwyer but sometimes its paralysis by analysis and I mean that in a good way.
I'd also like to say, if Haye had, for example, Holyfield's chin, I'd be 85-90% confident in him winning this. I think he has the power to take Wlad out eventually - after all, he's a good finisher. But, if Wlad lands (even with a hard, solid jab), there's no doubt in my mind that Haye's in trouble. And although I really rate Haye (he's not just a hype job - look what he's achieved in 26 fights) I get the feeling he'll get tagged at some point; Wlad is slick, experienced and effective.
Have to say, I agree that Haye's one-punch KO power is overrated. He's snappy, yes, and with decent power, yes, but I've not seem him end a fight with one decisive punch since a long time ago in the cruiserweights. I do feel you do him a little disservice though - he's more savvy and intelligent and has more guile (and more of a chance IMO) than you seem to think but I still have to say I can't look past Wlad for this one. As a Brit, I hope Haye wins, but, well, let's see.
I must agree with your analysis on Haye and Klitschko. Haye hasn't shown 1 punch ko power in the hw division where Klitschko has shown that several times. Haye has better hand and footspeed than Klitschko, although (after seeing them both live) the difference is not that big imo. Also I think Klitschko's chin isn't worse than Haye's, in fact it might be better. Haye seems to be in the best shape of his life and might trouble and wobble Klitschko at times, in the end Klitschko is just too big.
Haye's one chance at a massive pay day?? You realise why he fought Audley Harrison right? He got about $10 million for that fight. He also got silly money for the Valuev fight.
@ChesterDrawers2010 $10Million for Audley Harrison? I'm not saying he didn't get that or what exactly is silly money for Valuev? I heard it was a couple of million. If he was getting the money your claiming then he could just roll right along fighting tomato can after tomato can for silly money right? Look I know what side of the fence you're on and on Sunday you can help Haye eat through a straw. There's my moronic comment so that I don't make a liar out of you.
@boxinginfo Actually I don't think Haye will win. But guys like you and Dan Rafael make me sick. Audley Harrison is a bum but he is a household name in Britain and the fight had a huge back story.
@ChesterDrawers2010 Listen buddy, when did I say Audley Harrison was a bum? If you really follow what I say or watch my videos regularly I was one of the few people who gave Harrison a decent chance against Haye. So don't do me the dishonor of mentioning me with Dan Raphael. I know more about Harrison than most Americans and actually show more respect for him than most British people do. He just never made the transition at a late age from the amateurs to the pros plain and simple.
@boxinginfo First of all, I'm sorry for calling you a moron earlier- that was unnecessary. Tomato can and bum mean the same thing to me, but whatever. I've said you are obviously very knowledgeable about the sport and I enjoy watching your videos, the way you put your opinions across just pisses me off sometimes, but I suppose if I agreed with you all the time then there would be no point watching.
@ChesterDrawers2010 Fair enough. FYI I was not referring to either Valuev or Harrison as tomato cans. Barrett and the other heavyweight nobody maybe. Understand I think Haye is a live underdog but like DeGale I think he should concentrate more on fighting and less on talking trash.
@boxinginfo I absolutely agree with you about Degale, I don't like him at all. I'm not sure if he was trying to go the same route as the likes of Chris Eubank and Floyd Mayweather, i.e play the villain to make a name for himself. It doesn't help him that he can hardly put a sentence together without stumbling over his words. He's obviously talented but we seem to have a problem in the UK with successful olympians getting overhyped - it's the reason so many people were happy to them fail.
@ChesterDrawers2010....people are gonna just have to accept one of these days that trash talking is part of boxing. Look how far Haye got on his mouth alone and look how much attention this fight has brought to the HW division. Hardcore fans may not appreciate it but who cares? Its a boxing contest not a personality contest.
Haye's got knockdown power whereas Wald can put people to sleep with one punch. The only way I can see Haye winning is a stoppage on cuts, with the way Haye slashes his punches Wlad will definitely get cut.
I agree with you're assesment on the Haye Vs Wlad fight for the most part and so do pretty much all the educated fight fans in the UK.
I do think you are vastly underestimating Haye's Power but I agree it's not going to make a difference because Stewart will not Let Wlad fall into that trap.
I think it's likely to be a late KO for Wlad but don't be massively shocked if Wlad goes down once or twice in the fight if the tactics are wrong.
Many governments are hiding the cure for cancer? C'mon, now. I always find your boxing analysis very enjoyable and informative, but you really need to work on your conspiracy theories, because that one was pretty lame. When people make these outrages claims, I'd like some evidence to go with that. If you don't have any, well... that is usually called "making shit up".
@QueenToBishop Let me give you some food for thought. The gov't can split atoms and then make it into a massive destructive device. They can formulate biological weapons. They can create all kinds of super high tech surveillance equipment that can tell when you go to the bathroom if they want to from thousands of miles away. And you don't for one instance believe they can stop cells from mutating? I don't know any of this for sure, but I implore you to use a smidgen of critical thinking.
@boxinginfo Islander, long time subscriber here. I enjoy your show, so I'm not trying to hate here. The way cancer is portrayed in the general media is -extremely- deceptive. The notional cure for cancer is extremely illusive because researchers are not searching for one cure to one 'disease', but 1000 cures for 1000 different diseases. Cancer is extremely complex, it is caused by one of 100s of different mutations to different parts of cells, which is why some cancer fatality rates have fallen
@thomasyorath No hate taken. And I agree 100% w/ your post. Do you know that certain foods such as Lima Beans give off a compound known as HCN which is a type of cyanide. This robs both good and bad cells of oxygen and kills them. Which cells do you think suffer first and the greatest from HCN? The answer is the mutated ones. What does this sound like? A certain well known treatment maybe? For every animal created disease there is a plant like cure the Cherokee Indians believed.
Good show on the whole- think Klitshcko is 65-35 to win this, If he can establish his jab early, he will dominate. But if Haye can land with power early, he may shake Wlad and alter the makeup of the fight. Wlad knows the world is watching, and given that this on TV across the world, I'm hoping that a close fight won't end up looking like the Sturm Macklin fight.... Just hope the whole spectacle doesnt dissapoint. Got to disagree with Froch Calzaghe. Think it would be a repeat of the Lacy fight.
@boxinginfo Critical thinking? Man, I'd love to debate you on this topic, but I find the Youtube comment section not an adequate venue for this. All I can say here is that it is YOU are the one not applying either critical thinking or skepticism with such a statement regarding the lack of cure of cancer. The statement is rather a cynical one, and your reply is riddled with logical fallsies. But, as I said, the comment section is not the place for a debate of this kind.
@QueenToBishop What would you like to debate? How you can depend on your gov't and I should depend on mine tooand not doubt them? You see I mis speak when I ask for a "cure" there is no such thing b/c cancer is personal to each individual. I do believe that certain people somewhere know how to really contain it better than it has been. This is my problem with the way things are.
@boxinginfo Well, why not throw in a little bit of everything? Maybe it's better to have more of a a discussion than a debate, primarly because I'm generally interested in what the average american has to say about certain areas, such as religion and politics. I know nothing about your political convictions, but my guess would be that you are a die hard republican, regarding the brief comment about governments.
@QueenToBishop Actually I'll help you out some more. I'm a Libertarian within reason. Religion is everybody's own business as long as it doesn't infringe or harm other people. The French have it right about the ban on birkas(sp?). Politics is complicated and what I have learned is don't get too attached to any one thing, they're all corrupt or corruptible, it comes with power. The gov't at least in the US is SUPPOSED to serve the people but something went wrong in the last half century.
@ChesterDrawers2010 A moron? Really? Which part? Gov't dependency? Cancer being curable or better contained? You would see things more like I do if you subscribed to 1 little phrase I heard a real long time ago, "Every person contains the ability and know how to either live and produce good or to let the devil that exists in each of us to come to the fore front and create evil." Every person is capable of both and I believe the more power a person has the more that devil wants out.
@MrShockGee You're preaching to the choir! Its kind of like all of the oil that exists in an area called "The Bakken Formation" in parts of N.Dakota, S.Dakota, and Montana supposedly more oil than all of the Middle East combined. Yet, the environmentalists keep blocking the exploration. People never ask the critical questions, like WHO FUNDS the environmentalists? Obviously it must be people protecting the sale of what they have the market cornered with wouldn't you think?
I think people are underestimating Floyd. Ortiz doesn't have a very good handspeed and he telegraphs his punches. This is an easy fight for Floyd. I think Mayweather-Ortiz will be similar to Mayweather-Marquez. I will not be surprised if Floyd pressures Ortiz because I think Floyd knows that he can see Ortiz's punches. Because ortiz telegraphs his punch, Mayweather will have an easy night countering Ortiz.
@aznvedz Actually I'm not so sure I agree with that about Ortiz. He does telegraph when he's on the hunt and has a guy hurt. Otherwise his left hand is pretty straight. I don't expect him to win but I do expect him to give Mayweather way more of a fight than either Mosley or Marquez did.
@boxinginfo - I think catchweight at 144 is ok as long as marquez doesn't try to bulk up like he did with floyd mayweather. At 135, marquez has been weighing in 145lbs the next day. we all know manny always comes in about 148lbs in fight night. so i think marquez should just come come at 135 during weigh in like he did against katsidis and diaz. manny will come in 144lbs on weight in. the next day, marquez will hydate to 145lbs and manny will hydrate 148lbs (about 3-4lbs difference.
@aznvedz All of this is good in theory, but boxers are all the same. If they know the max weight is "X" you better believe they will eat as much as they can to just barely make "X." I hope your right, but my mind and experience tells me otherwise, remember these guys are prize fighters not rocket scientists.
@boxinginfo i think marquez should just come in to the weigh he is comfortable at that is 135lbs. he should listen to his body. this is his mistake going against floyd. he tried to bulk up. Their 2nd fight was about 4lbs difference between them. make no mistake, the 130lb version is better than the 145lb version or marquez but 145lb version (version that beat katsidis and diaz) is way better than the 148lb version(the version that fought floyd)
Arce sorta came full circle. Similar to what Michael Carbajal inflicted upon him over 10 years and more than 20 fights later he does the same to Vasquez Jr. Happy for the guy.
Good Video, i agree on the Haye/Klitchko fight, ive paid for it so i hope it goes past 6 rounds but i doubt it will. In respect to the Groves/Degale fight i thought Groves had it and outworked Degale, but i see your point of view, it was close. The more telling thing about the fight is that Groves said all along that he is a work in progress, whilst degale thinks hes a polished/finished fighter, hes nowhere near. Kell Brook and Darren Barker are our best, watch this space.
Great video. Great preview/review of all the fights and boxing news. Very professional take on things. Hard to find time for such a long video though. Keep up the good vids bro.
welcome back...ortiz is very dangerous for mayweather,i like that fight alot. supposedly morales & canelo may fight on the undercard if so i think it should hit the 1.5 million ppv mark maybe more...i think judah stops khan late probably behind on the cards...i'm watching the haye-klitschko fight at a cook out saturday...i gotta take wlad by mid to late stoppage, probably by a left hook...watch that ouma-golovkin fight if you haven't yet also,it's a good one.
40:00 regarding the Bradley discussion, Tim Bradley's a guy I follow pretty closely. One of the issues behind him not fighting right now is his contract with Gary Shaw is about to expire; by not fighting he preserves his current negotiating power and both Top Rank and Golden Boy have expressed interest in signing him.
Sam Peter was slow as hell, Hasim Rahman was shot as hell. I think Haye's speed gives him a great chance to land on Wlad. He may not KO him with 1 shot but might hurt him to the point where he cant recover. Nevertheless i have Wlad by tko....lol i just dont think Haye can avoid getting hit as he tries to come in, like you said. He hasnt had enough quality opp at HW to win this fight imo. DeGale is still the 2nd coming though....trust lol.
@DirkDigglerV3 Power with Peter, Height and reach with Rahman, and psycological intangibles with Brewster is what I meant to say. Haye is not going to get the job done from a distance and he's not going to avoid getting hit coming in, if he does it will surprise me.
DeGale can still have a championship career but the UK press and he have a mighty high opinion of him in my opinion.
@boxinginfo....i think Haye has the best chance out of anyone currently at heavyweight. His combination of power, speed and athleticism gives him a chance. I still think he comes up short but then surely everyone else does? Do you see anyone with a better shot?
The UK public hate DeGale....which i believe played a role in him not getting the nod. That and the fact Groves was a huge underdog. The scoring of some of the individual rounds was strange. DeGale needs a new trainer tho imo.
19:20 last I heard Dawson-Hopkins is going to be an October PPV and they're already building the undercard for it, with Matthysse-Holt as a potential undercard fight
@boxinginfo I also think Judah will be a good bet 'specially at a 1/6 underdog. If 'styles make fights' then I think Judah has got the style.Great video Islander, 'been wundrin where you've been......
I don't think Canelo was with GBP for the early part of his career.
Good vid man

i hate british boxing fans making excuses for Haye. his performance sucked a dick.
RomansPwnedJesus 8 months ago
further more why is the British public so angry/ disappointed with haye the media hype has a lot to do with it i think.he took some good shots off a good heavyweight and yes was schooled a little but didnt do to bad. I think it could be a case of him getting the chance to quick maybe and not maybe being naturally big enough. My only fear now is all the belts are with the klitchsko's what now for heavyweight boxing?haye is re-assessing retirement would a re-match go the same way.
crookalistair 8 months ago
@crookalistair Problem #1 People in general don't want to buy or watch the Klitschkos. Problem #2 is people are now wise to Haye's ways with the real big guys, first with Valuev (who Holyfield beat more decisively first) and now this fight. Nobody wants to see it again. Personally I'd rather see Haye fight the winner of the Vitali-Adamek fight because either of those two would make Haye actually fight which is what he promised everybody he would make Wlad do.

good prediction islander. I didn't know how it would go but there u go maybe i believed some of the hype. Personally though i know haye was outclassed but i think he did well to not get knocked out by a lot bigger man who is underrated and has a good knockout ratio. why o why though did hayebring up his toe ? iv seen the pictures and it looks a mess but (and im british) embarrassed he mentioned it take it on the chin david like a vlad jab.
crookalistair 8 months ago
tremendous accuracy in the klitschko prediction. Haye really looked like a clown.
RomansPwnedJesus 8 months ago
Good video man. I disagree when you say time is Mayweather's worst enemy and you put him in the same category as Roy Jones. Roy relied mostly on his athleticism and that's why he fell off so quickly when his physical abilities declined but Floyd relies mostly on his ring intelligence, his speed is a great tool but not his most important one. I think his ring IQ will allow him to fight at the elite level for a long time.
balistik94 8 months ago
@balistik94 We've been down this road before. BOTH Mayweather and Jones rely on INCREDIBLE REFLEXES which is at the core of ALL technically sound/elite boxers these two are no different than Robinson, Ali, Holmes, Leonard, and Whitaker. Once time, age, and inactivity start to set in they lose a 1/2 step then a full step then you get Lebedev-Jones Jr. or Camacho-Leonard. Believe me Floyd ain't any smarter than Jones Jr., Leonard, Whitaker, Holmes or Ali and especially Robinson.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo I don't believe incredible reflexes is at the core of Hopkins' or Ward's style. You take away Floyd's speed and you got a welterweight version of Hopkins. Floyd is indeed smarter Jones and his style is more sophisticated.
balistik94 8 months ago
Well...you were wrong about Haye's chin, but you were right about damn near everything else!
MarkLip 8 months ago

:> I want to hear all the David Haye sympathizers and their reasons for the way their COWARD performed, the guy is a FRAUD plain and simple.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo So your next video is basically going to be you bragging about how you predicted Wlad would win and moaning about David Haye? Might give that one a miss.
ChesterDrawers2010 8 months ago
@ChesterDrawers2010 No the next video I'm going to report the facts about your charge and you'll see me SMILE. BTW feel free to give all the videos a miss if you have such thin skin when it comes to the former mens model. What I find funny is Haye took many dives without Klitschko even hitting him. Curious behavior from somebody talking as big as he has for the past 2.5 years. What a waste.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo I'm not even a big David Haye. I just don't like people saying "I told you so" after predicting the favourite result. I also wouldn't want to hear you bitching and moaning even if you were talking about fighters that I hate like Khan, Mayweather etc. In this way, I'm sorry to say, you are very much like Dan Rafael (maybe 100 pounds lighter though :-) )
ChesterDrawers2010 8 months ago

BoxingExcellence2 8 months ago
BoxingExcellence2 8 months ago
@BoxingExcellence2 Question, who is Adam Booth? What resume does he bring to be even mentioned in the same breath as the legendary trainers? A guy who makes videos on YouTube says Booth is great with no record to show and all of a sudden Adam Booth is some kind of mastermind? Look for all those people who are upset with Klitschko's competition or lack there of, it's still light years better than that of Haye's. I can't wait for this to be over and done with.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
Klitschko vs Haye:
Physically - Klitschko has is a better 12 round fighter than haye, and has done it with consistent pace with chambers, Ibragimov etc, he has the edge in condition, natural strength, height and reach and of course power these outweigh haye physical attributes such agility, hand speed, foot speed and athleticism.
Technically - Its ALL Klitschko former Olympian with the amateur pedigree, fundamentally sound, turns over each punch properly, haye might have a better variety (cont..
BoxingExcellence2 8 months ago
Professor Islander - Good to see you back. Klitschko is going to knock Haye out cold in the mid rounds, and I for one will be glad. Haye may be my fellow Brit, but he is a mouthy piece of crap.
danlfc1983 8 months ago
I think speed is the key, the punches you don't see are the ones that hurt the most. Also if klitchsko gets hit on the chin he might not go down, but his senses will be scrambled and he might take more than one shot after the first one.
88stockmj 8 months ago
@88stockmj You're forgeting 1 thing, when has Haye ever had a guy as big, strong, and athletic tie him up wrestle him around and put his weight on him? He can't win fighting like he did vs. Valuev he has to take major chances.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo Totally agree and if wlad lands on him its all over. I just believe that its going to be a case of someone getting exposed and I think wlads going to be on the end of it. Lots of people look invincible until they come up against someone who is all wrong for them. I'll put my neck on the line and say haye by ko before 6.
88stockmj 8 months ago
and as for sanders- he is much slower than Haye. Powerful, but slower.
wannasaysummit 8 months ago
OK don't switch off, this is another haye comment from the UK. There is one scenario you didn't cover. What if Haye slips past the jab and gets inside (which he can do) and he hits Klitchko with two's and maybe threes and gets back out. Thus winning on points? I admit it's unlikely, but Haye is a good boxer with better head movement than most heavyweights so it can be done. Haye has more than a punchers chance, he has a "boxers" chance.
wannasaysummit 8 months ago
@wannasaysummit What you and everybody else fails to realize is that sure Haye can take the jab away or the right hand. But, in order for him to get close enough to land he's going to get hit with a hook off the jab or an uppercut or a lead right hand. For all we know he might be able to stand up to it, I have my doubts. Look at how hard and square Haye clocked Maccarinelli and he was still standing until a follow up barrage put him down. He's not going to get the chance to land multiple punches

hi ,great show. i been talking with co workers and they laugh at me because . i told then , puerto rican boxers need to train in the altitude. like vazquez senior did in the past. he went almost always to toluca mexico. and i remember the fight with eloy rojas he was losing ,but thanks to his condition he won by ko in the 11round. maybe i'm wrong but i think is a good idea.i'm not saying they gonna win always , but for sure they gonna have more stamina. klickshko by ko in 3 . hi from p.r.!!!!
anhell32 8 months ago
I think people are gonna be surprised how effective Haye will be in this fight. Haye will take away Wlad's jab and that's half the battle won. Wlad needs to land that jab and feel comfortable to land his right hand. I think Haye will use a lot of lateral movement and bullrush in bursts. This fight will be somewhat similar to Pascal/Dawson. I think Haye counters Wlad with a right hand over the jab and hurts him in this fight. It's gonna be a tentative and cagey opening.
forerunning 8 months ago
Welcome back, Islander. Just in time.
Good deal. I'd evaluate the real odds as about 5-1.
lane99 8 months ago
@lane99 I'm with you when he gets too close Wlad is going to lean and push down on the back of Haye's neck and tire him out even more. Qoxiivi asked me about Dwyer's video where he says this should be an even money fight, some people are off there rocker. Adam Boothe what has he done besides work with Haye? Danny Williams? George Groves? And, people think he's some sort of mastermind? This sort of reminds me of the Gerry Coony circus 1982 all pomp and circumstance and a huge monster let down.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo Even money?? I made a comment here couple months ago that I thought the odds for this fight would be distorted by Haye's big mouth, and by his being British (they see their fighters through rose coloured glasses). But 1-1? Would have been shocked if the official odds ever went that low.
Well, if Dwyer or anyone else wants to take Haye straight up, send me a message. I'll cover you.
lane99 8 months ago
he would have blow ruiz away like david tua did? man David Tua is one of the hardest hitting heavyweights, he had a lot more power then sanders.
jarvobrrrrap 8 months ago
@jarvobrrrrap NEWS FLASH for you BOTH Tua and Sanders have/had WAY more power than David Haye. Haye's power is OVERRATED. Still doesn't mean he can't win because he certainly can that's why they fight the fights. My problem is these idots and I mean IDIOTS who think that the 1st time Haye touches the Klitschko chin he's going down and out, its absolutely asinine and absurd. Personally at this point in time I think Klitschko's chin is better than Haye's who even Barrett dented it in their fight.
boxinginfo 8 months ago

Peace.
Qoxiivi 8 months ago
Hi again, Stork. Just interested (not trying to stir things up at all, literally just interested) in what you think of dwyer's (GamblersAdvisory) take on this fight.
Qoxiivi 8 months ago
@Qoxiivi I need to watch it and I'll let you know
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@Qoxiivi Ok I watched it. The most recent one was pure fantasy comparing Haye to Clay v Liston or the legendary Bill Russell is insane. If anybody is revolutionary it was Evander Holyfield, Haye is just a cheap imitation. Understand I don't think Wlad rates all time. How in the hell is Haye going to hit without being hit from way outside, I'm sorry lunging in doesn't get it done. If I'm wrong than I'm wrong. I like Dwyer but sometimes its paralysis by analysis and I mean that in a good way.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
Where you been Islander
ryiin 8 months ago
I'd also like to say, if Haye had, for example, Holyfield's chin, I'd be 85-90% confident in him winning this. I think he has the power to take Wlad out eventually - after all, he's a good finisher. But, if Wlad lands (even with a hard, solid jab), there's no doubt in my mind that Haye's in trouble. And although I really rate Haye (he's not just a hype job - look what he's achieved in 26 fights) I get the feeling he'll get tagged at some point; Wlad is slick, experienced and effective.
Qoxiivi 8 months ago
Have to say, I agree that Haye's one-punch KO power is overrated. He's snappy, yes, and with decent power, yes, but I've not seem him end a fight with one decisive punch since a long time ago in the cruiserweights. I do feel you do him a little disservice though - he's more savvy and intelligent and has more guile (and more of a chance IMO) than you seem to think but I still have to say I can't look past Wlad for this one. As a Brit, I hope Haye wins, but, well, let's see.
Qoxiivi 8 months ago
I must agree with your analysis on Haye and Klitschko. Haye hasn't shown 1 punch ko power in the hw division where Klitschko has shown that several times. Haye has better hand and footspeed than Klitschko, although (after seeing them both live) the difference is not that big imo. Also I think Klitschko's chin isn't worse than Haye's, in fact it might be better. Haye seems to be in the best shape of his life and might trouble and wobble Klitschko at times, in the end Klitschko is just too big.
fcu1 8 months ago
Haye's one chance at a massive pay day?? You realise why he fought Audley Harrison right? He got about $10 million for that fight. He also got silly money for the Valuev fight.
ChesterDrawers2010 8 months ago
@ChesterDrawers2010 $10Million for Audley Harrison? I'm not saying he didn't get that or what exactly is silly money for Valuev? I heard it was a couple of million. If he was getting the money your claiming then he could just roll right along fighting tomato can after tomato can for silly money right? Look I know what side of the fence you're on and on Sunday you can help Haye eat through a straw. There's my moronic comment so that I don't make a liar out of you.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo Actually I don't think Haye will win. But guys like you and Dan Rafael make me sick. Audley Harrison is a bum but he is a household name in Britain and the fight had a huge back story.
ChesterDrawers2010 8 months ago
@ChesterDrawers2010 Listen buddy, when did I say Audley Harrison was a bum? If you really follow what I say or watch my videos regularly I was one of the few people who gave Harrison a decent chance against Haye. So don't do me the dishonor of mentioning me with Dan Raphael. I know more about Harrison than most Americans and actually show more respect for him than most British people do. He just never made the transition at a late age from the amateurs to the pros plain and simple.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo First of all, I'm sorry for calling you a moron earlier- that was unnecessary. Tomato can and bum mean the same thing to me, but whatever. I've said you are obviously very knowledgeable about the sport and I enjoy watching your videos, the way you put your opinions across just pisses me off sometimes, but I suppose if I agreed with you all the time then there would be no point watching.
ChesterDrawers2010 8 months ago
@ChesterDrawers2010 Fair enough. FYI I was not referring to either Valuev or Harrison as tomato cans. Barrett and the other heavyweight nobody maybe. Understand I think Haye is a live underdog but like DeGale I think he should concentrate more on fighting and less on talking trash.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo I absolutely agree with you about Degale, I don't like him at all. I'm not sure if he was trying to go the same route as the likes of Chris Eubank and Floyd Mayweather, i.e play the villain to make a name for himself. It doesn't help him that he can hardly put a sentence together without stumbling over his words. He's obviously talented but we seem to have a problem in the UK with successful olympians getting overhyped - it's the reason so many people were happy to them fail.
ChesterDrawers2010 8 months ago
@ChesterDrawers2010....people are gonna just have to accept one of these days that trash talking is part of boxing. Look how far Haye got on his mouth alone and look how much attention this fight has brought to the HW division. Hardcore fans may not appreciate it but who cares? Its a boxing contest not a personality contest.
DirkDigglerV3 8 months ago
Haye's got knockdown power whereas Wald can put people to sleep with one punch. The only way I can see Haye winning is a stoppage on cuts, with the way Haye slashes his punches Wlad will definitely get cut.
TeflonDom 8 months ago

QueenToBishop 8 months ago
@QueenToBishop Let me give you some food for thought. The gov't can split atoms and then make it into a massive destructive device. They can formulate biological weapons. They can create all kinds of super high tech surveillance equipment that can tell when you go to the bathroom if they want to from thousands of miles away. And you don't for one instance believe they can stop cells from mutating? I don't know any of this for sure, but I implore you to use a smidgen of critical thinking.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo Islander, long time subscriber here. I enjoy your show, so I'm not trying to hate here. The way cancer is portrayed in the general media is -extremely- deceptive. The notional cure for cancer is extremely illusive because researchers are not searching for one cure to one 'disease', but 1000 cures for 1000 different diseases. Cancer is extremely complex, it is caused by one of 100s of different mutations to different parts of cells, which is why some cancer fatality rates have fallen
thomasyorath 8 months ago

QueenToBishop 8 months ago
@QueenToBishop What would you like to debate? How you can depend on your gov't and I should depend on mine tooand not doubt them? You see I mis speak when I ask for a "cure" there is no such thing b/c cancer is personal to each individual. I do believe that certain people somewhere know how to really contain it better than it has been. This is my problem with the way things are.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo Well, why not throw in a little bit of everything? Maybe it's better to have more of a a discussion than a debate, primarly because I'm generally interested in what the average american has to say about certain areas, such as religion and politics. I know nothing about your political convictions, but my guess would be that you are a die hard republican, regarding the brief comment about governments.
QueenToBishop 8 months ago
@QueenToBishop Actually I'll help you out some more. I'm a Libertarian within reason. Religion is everybody's own business as long as it doesn't infringe or harm other people. The French have it right about the ban on birkas(sp?). Politics is complicated and what I have learned is don't get too attached to any one thing, they're all corrupt or corruptible, it comes with power. The gov't at least in the US is SUPPOSED to serve the people but something went wrong in the last half century.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo When you talk boxing you come across as very knowledgeable, but I'm sorry to say you just sound like a moron here.
ChesterDrawers2010 8 months ago
@ChesterDrawers2010 A moron? Really? Which part? Gov't dependency? Cancer being curable or better contained? You would see things more like I do if you subscribed to 1 little phrase I heard a real long time ago, "Every person contains the ability and know how to either live and produce good or to let the devil that exists in each of us to come to the fore front and create evil." Every person is capable of both and I believe the more power a person has the more that devil wants out.

Because ortiz telegraphs his punch, Mayweather will have an easy night countering Ortiz.
aznvedz 8 months ago
@aznvedz Actually I'm not so sure I agree with that about Ortiz. He does telegraph when he's on the hunt and has a guy hurt. Otherwise his left hand is pretty straight. I don't expect him to win but I do expect him to give Mayweather way more of a fight than either Mosley or Marquez did.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo - I think catchweight at 144 is ok as long as marquez doesn't try to bulk up like he did with floyd mayweather. At 135, marquez has been weighing in 145lbs the next day. we all know manny always comes in about 148lbs in fight night. so i think marquez should just come come at 135 during weigh in like he did against katsidis and diaz. manny will come in 144lbs on weight in. the next day, marquez will hydate to 145lbs and manny will hydrate 148lbs (about 3-4lbs difference.
aznvedz 8 months ago
@aznvedz All of this is good in theory, but boxers are all the same. If they know the max weight is "X" you better believe they will eat as much as they can to just barely make "X." I hope your right, but my mind and experience tells me otherwise, remember these guys are prize fighters not rocket scientists.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo i think marquez should just come in to the weigh he is comfortable at that is 135lbs. he should listen to his body. this is his mistake going against floyd. he tried to bulk up. Their 2nd fight was about 4lbs difference between them. make no mistake, the 130lb version is better than the 145lb version or marquez but 145lb version (version that beat katsidis and diaz) is way better than the 148lb version(the version that fought floyd)

Even though I completely agree with your analysis of the Klitchko v Haye fight...
I don't know how any boxing fan in their right mind could be rooting for Klitchko.
I mean if ever their was an applecart that needed to be upended, its the unwatchable Heavyweight Division.
-If Haye beats Klitchko, the rematch would be the first Heavyweight fight i'd pay for in more than a decade!!
-If Klitchko wins, the division goes back to being dormant.

DirkDigglerV3 8 months ago
@DirkDigglerV3 Power with Peter, Height and reach with Rahman, and psycological intangibles with Brewster is what I meant to say. Haye is not going to get the job done from a distance and he's not going to avoid getting hit coming in, if he does it will surprise me.
DeGale can still have a championship career but the UK press and he have a mighty high opinion of him in my opinion.
boxinginfo 8 months ago
@boxinginfo....i think Haye has the best chance out of anyone currently at heavyweight. His combination of power, speed and athleticism gives him a chance. I still think he comes up short but then surely everyone else does? Do you see anyone with a better shot?
The UK public hate DeGale....which i believe played a role in him not getting the nod. That and the fact Groves was a huge underdog. The scoring of some of the individual rounds was strange. DeGale needs a new trainer tho imo.
