It was a Jerry Jones sitar! he probs took the buzz bridge out so it didnt sound like a guitar! but type it in on google and you'll see what they look like! they're pretty cool!
I've seen Zeppelin 16 times, and queen twice with Freddy, once without, The Darkness twice, Linkin Park twice, and Chris Cornell with every tour he has done since Badmotorfinger. I've even held him in the air twice while he was crowdsurfing during Black Hole Sun at Projekt Rev. I think I win.
He did use a sitar, a jerry jones sitar! however he took the buzz bridge out which produces the buzzing sitar sound so therefore he has more freedom in the solo. Because the buzz bridge doesnt allow you to bend the strings very well etc...
I saw them at the SECC in feb 2006 which i think was three concerts before this one maybe 12th feb somet awesome night though , richies bass solo was cool but was it really his birthday when they played live when i saw them on the night ? or was that just a thing they did each night on tour ! lol btw BOOB CHARIOT !!!
I was saying to Zeppelin798 to confirm that the Glasgow gig was the twelfth. Its just that nowadays, when you reply to a comment someone left it normally sends them to the top rather than pairs them with the comment it was replied to.
This is The Darkness at it's most purest! I saw them the night before this at Birmingham and this video has brought memories flooding back! Thanks alot! I saw them at Wembley Arena in 2004 aswell! They are brilliant and I miss them so much!
Fucking shame Justin had to leave I never got a chance to see them in concert, of course the bassist will fail he doesnt have the same attitude to rock as Justin and doesnt have the harmony of a voice or attraction to female and straight men
holy diver, i was there, and im pretty sure i was sitting pretty close to the guy with the camera thats weird
