Incidentally, she did just cross mountains with her grandmother and other siblings after her parents were killed, which would explain some hardship on her sweet face.

The people of this region are some of the most beautiful people....but equally the most oppressed, poor people. It's so sad. When I went to northern Pakistan, the people there could put even the world's top models to shame. Even in their poverty, they are naturally striking. To the people who think the older photo does not look like the same girl, considering the changes that happen to a face between the age of 12 and adulthood, all the features look right to me, except the mouth. Note that the child's upper lip protrudes naturally over her top lip, while the woman's does not. However, if she lost some of her front teeth, that might explain the difference. Also, that little mole above the lip on the girl's right isn't visible on the adult. But it could have faded.

When I went to northern Pakistan, the people there could put even the world's top models to shame. Even in their poverty, they are naturally striking. He confirmed it was her, beyond any doubt. She has known war every day of her 30yrs, had 4 kids, lost both parents to war, never attended school, never had running water She says she's had one happy day in her life; her wedding day.

Obvious Soviets were not there to make peace so a lots of blood was shed. Since both Soviets & Afghans are fucked up in the head. To the people who think the older photo does not look like the same girl, considering the changes that happen to a face between the age of 12 and adulthood, all the features look right to me, except the mouth. Note that the child's upper lip protrudes naturally over her top lip, while the woman's does not. However, if she lost some of her front teeth, that might explain the difference. Also, that little mole above the lip on the girl's right isn't visible on the adult. But it could have faded.
