ummm the corvette is faster in the nurburgring than the gtr. the fastest gtr is 7:26.70. the fastest of the vette is the zr1 coming in at 7:24.4. the only vette z06 recorded in the nurburgring was back in 2005. of which those had only the 436hp ls3. the new ls7 and ls9 pushrod vette motors are far better than the nissan motor. both awesome cars, but people put the gtr on too high of a pedistol. race it against the viper acr srt10. that runs under 7:20 and it only costs 10k more than the gtr

Battle of the tough guys.. it was a good duel. Both cars are fun to drive, serious road warriors.. but I'd go for the Vette, the looks and the sound, much better than the mighty GTR.

GTR has twin turbos, Z06 is N/A all motor. Put twin turbos on Z06 and GTR would not be able to keep up.

the Z06 has a 7.0l engine while the GTR has a 3.8l... besides the GTR weights 300kgs more and has less 30HP... there's no excuse for the Vette to lose...

i was just saying im wasnt surprised about the result coz usually when 2 cars lining in a drag strip and have like almost the same weight(the gtr is geavier right? LOL) and they do have so much different hp, the bigger one definitely would win the race.
