I would be incredibly honored to one day visit Yad Vashem. It is a memorial not just for the Jewish people, but for all humanity. Touring it is an experience that all people should have, one that should leave a lasting impression on those whose hearts and minds are open.
I know that it would leave a lasting impression on me, and even make me a changed person.
If anything that might be said was good to come from the Holocaust it was to finally have the Jewish people as a whole and then as a nation to stand as one and say NEVER AGAIN
What Jews along with other minorities have suffered is incredible. Especially Jews have been always persecuted with especial malevolence. Always blaming Jews for everything : if it rains or if it doesn ´t rain...if there is a plague or if there isn ´t, if thetre is war or if there isn´t..if my grandmother is ill or not...if it is hot or if it is cold......if people have money or the opposite......how can people be so stupid and so naive ? !!! :-(
This is just so tragic, those poor people ! NO, must never be forgotten and we must educate the younger ones about this dreadful evil time in our history. May Yahweh be with them I pray, and rescue them from their vicious enemies ..Blessings, Shalom
I would recommend people to read the article "Be The Stronger" by David Frum in the January 2011 edition of Commentary. This is the only way that I know for Jews to avoid the Holocaust. I do not know why people hate Jews and I pray to Almight G-d to end this hate. But, in the meantime, I recommend Israel to "Be the Stronger" and to be ready to thoroughly kick ass on anyone or country, at any time and at any place. G-d bless the USA and G-d bless Israel and the Jews.
Its true, if we dont remember our past we cant change the future. Please god that this will never happen again, to any race or religion. The holocaust must never be forgotton. All the beautiful children and infants who were murdered, their bright light gone from this world. We must remember the dead and Yad Vashem is a monument to all who perished and a lesson to us all. People have to remain decent.
Never again. The IDF will see to that. God help any nation or insane dictator who tries to harm a Jew. They will pay not an eye for an eye, but a body for a single hair harmed on a Jew.. Our Six Million Martyrs all sit in the presence of allmighty God while their tormentors rot and burn in hell. Baruch Hashem
Videos like this drive me into tears. 6 million Jews murdered for some genocidal maniac. Never forget, AND NEVER AGAIN. It is time to fight the new nazis now. JERUSALEM IS NOT A SETTLEMENT. It is Israel :)
Look forward to visit Yad Vashem in the future. I look forward to learn more about the shoah.. to learn to act not to let this terrible tragedy from happening again.
Holocaust is a blemish on the history of Mankind. Jews formed the traditional Intellectual community of the west, who excelled in every walk of life despite being persecuted and discriminated. Judaism(one of the the ancient most surviving religions of the world) has produced some of the best brains of the world. Anne Frank diary is one of the most widely read books after Bible. May God bless people of Israel and Jews all over the world. Amen.
I live in Poland near former German nazi Concentration Camp Auschwitz. It's a place of memory. I hope one day I'll visit Yad Vashem Institute. Also in England in Imperial War Museum there is a very interesting exhibition of Holocaust.
@radled Also a holocaust centre at Laxton Nr Newark in England. It is like a mini Yad Vashem.. I live in Nottingham, 20 miles away from Newark. I have been to Yad Vashem & Laxton, both very moving & emotional places to visit. How there can be people who deny the Holocaust I do not know, they should be made to visit Auschwitz..
I visited YadVashem just today. What makes me angry most of all is that in our days there are people who try to deny the terrible truth. Those dirty frauds are actually trying to delete those horrible pages from the human history. But as long as YadVashem stands as an eternal memory, their evil attempt will fail.
The consequences of egoism are hatred for the other, poverty and injustice. The ones who pay are always the defenceless populations. Yad Vashem should also serve as a reminder to the modern Israeli state of its responsibility to humanity.
I know about the Holocaust, when I looked at this, I feel anger, pain and regret on those Jews. I think Nazis were evil, who made them suffer and used them as slaves and hunted and treated them like animals. I never get scared from the past. I saw a film 'Schindler's List', my favourite true story film, Schindler was a good man and sacrificed anything he had to save over one thousand Jews. I never forgive the Nazis, I thank the people like Schindler and others who risked their lives, saving Jews
i share them sadness as a turkish ..i never hate any oj jews they re pretty nice and clever people

When I was in YadVashem I saw a video of the Americans refusing to bomb the tracks to the concentration camps. Do you have this video online?
