I lot of the problem they faced was poor management (the mum of the vocalist tried to be their manager) and also being in the right spot at the worong time. I actually saw these guys play in London in the 80's and some of the crowd didn't seem to get it (possibly they wanted punk or something) - I think timing is an issue though the poor management of the band was a bigger limitation.

I seen them in Glasgow Apollo in `82 I think it was. They were fuckin superb! Did about 4 encores. Even after the lights came up they came back on. It was quite a quiet gig, but still one of the best atmospheres I ever seen. Same audience had earlier booed Tank off stage...they were shite! Diamond Head with Sean Harris were awesome!!!!!

Really until thrash metal came along and those bands began using more atonal melodies and out of the box chord progressions, 90% of metal followed the blues/rock n roll blueprint of songwriting.
