  • I use this same technique a lot in my paintings. It's quite simple and surprises me that no one who enjoys this kind of effect really knows of it. I mix my acrylics with water color.

  • i enjoyed your sharing the process

  • I truly enjoyed watching you, and thought the music was very effective with the technique... love the finished piece. Thanks for sharing. Peace.

  • Interesting experiment thanks for sharing!

  • Shun the non-believers. :) Awesome style. May give it a try.

  • Wow. I really don't get it is this for people that can't paint. Cause I could sure put 5 colors on a canvas and spray water at it and you sprayed to much it looked ok half way through the by the end you were right back at the beginning ..

  • HOLY.GUACAMOLE.

  • After the first spray with the bottle it looked like lightening!

A Very interesting technique!!!! I might just have to try it!!!

  • I've done two drip painting and this technique is different from what I did but thanks for showing me another way :)

  • acrylic?

  • I think this is really cool and creative, but imo its a bit overdone i would have stopped at 1:33 it looks great already at that moment, good job tho :)

  • @Graveheart77 Overdone...more like never done...we only stop so we can move on to something else.

  • this is exactly why i love youtube !

  • awesome

  • 1:33

  • looks awesome around 1:14

  • What a great idea! Thanks for sharing.

  • For those who knock the technique...I sold my first Drip painting right off my living room wall to a friend of a friend..since then my hobby has turned into an obsession by others who continue to request drip technique paintings so much that I have 5 paintings drying right now. Water does things a brush cannot do and no two paintings will ever be the same. Don't knock it until you try it.

  • @cw8307 you said it

  • @infowazz Acknowledged

  • Waste of time? Haha, no. This is gorgeous! And now I'm going to try it.

  • too much brushwork - think it has a better effect just manipulating with gravity and the medium.

  • perfect song for the mood of the painting. great job for your first time :)

  • That is beautiful and very clever with the water :) fantastic job :)

  • I love it! With dripping I found it's all about experimenting! Different colors react in a different way!

  • I love it....would love to see more videos = )

  • Really cool! And-NO ART work is a waste of time any artist knows this

  • Thanks for taking this video. I love seeing "what happens when I do X" without having to use up a bunch of my paint when I do. Cheers!

  • me likey

  • waste of time!!

  • @Naattmmir that's a great criticism for something that was an experimental project. Can't win them all I suppose. But you are more than welcome to got fuck yourself. Maybe that will have a better result than my waste of time experiment. Cheers.

  • @zkfsu That is the best!! I love your creativity in your work AND in your words!! :)

  • @Naattmmir Never thought I'd see an troll!

  • @Naattmmir i don't think it's a waste of time. Art is art. and shit rolls down hill. someone must have said that about your work once. pay him/her/it no mind zkfsu. you're doing great and i am learning from your videos.

  • @Naattmmir Try it once...it will frustrate you and take you a long time to get what you want out of spraying water on paint...once u master it...you will be very happy you wasted your time.

  • what's in the spay bottle? Is it water? Great job!

  • @MrJams321 yea it's just water

  • @MrJams321 spray bottle is very important for acrylics

  • This is just divine my friend !!!!

  • @ThePaparazzi478 thanks

  • I've been wanting to try this technique!! What was the first layer you put on the canvas? Primer or water? I've seen folks put water down first before.

  • @Snoopy5509 the first layer is just white gesso

  • i love this technique i use it for my backgrounds in my tree paintings!!

  • @Thadtaylorart yea i've never tried it before but its cool, feel like its going to open up some new ideas for my artwork

  • Put it up for sale. I think there will be a run on it. ta dum
