  • You didn't even mention Windows users..? You said that some/one of the good Windows edits would win a FroKnowsPhoto T-Shirt.

  • @MosbeckPhoto im going to go back through them and find one person who edited in windows and get them a shirt asap. Thank you for pointing it out I will make the correction.

  • That intro is awesome :D

  • U LOOKS SO HUNG OVER HAHA WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS STAYS IN VEGAS

  • @AcornBurrka Hold up! Your D3100 is a DX camera, and if your wanting 85mm(I'm assuming this is the focal length you were wanting) then go with the 50mm 1.8. It's half as much and because it's an fx lens and you would be using it on a DX camera, the focal length would really actually be 75mm. But if it's good for portraits? Google it, they're are millions of reviews and look at the reviews on Nikon's website.

  • Hey Jared, for $500, would buying the 85mm ƒ1.8 af-s be good for my D3100 for portraits? I plan on selling my 18-55mm. They announced it in CES I believe.

  • @AcornBurrka dont sell your 18-55 and a 50mm is a better portrait lens on a cropped sensor. but just try them out and then select the one you like better.

  • @llleolllolll @LCAPhoto thanks for the reply guys. I also have the 35mm 1.8 if that changes anything. I'm considering the 50mm now.

  • @AcornBurrka just calculate that: 35mm=50mm and 50mm=75mm which is closer to 85 as this 85mm=about 130mm.

  • @llleolllolll Ah ok. So bc it's a dx, you have to multiply by 1.5. Thanks mate :)

  • @AcornBurrka as long as you have a dx body you have to multiply every lens with (i think with nikons) 1.5x even if the lens is a dx only.

  • if you have MAC OS X lion quick time comes with a screen recording thingy so you don't need ScreenFlow

  • Is that pronounced "Jorge" or "Hore-hay" because they are both spelled the same. :I

  • I use for recording tutorials an application from Blueberry Software...easy to use and records very well I think it's only for PC users.

  • i voted for d

  • Can someone clarify for me please... The winner for doing a good screen flow will receive a copy of screen flow?

  • Buy Screenflow from the mac appstore, then you wouldn't need to buy twice. Also use Quicktime Player to do screen recording for free, beats screenflow demo.

  • THANK YOU!!! so much for selecting me as a finalist Jared!

  • LOVE THE VIDEO JARED! CAN U PLS MAKE MY DAY BY REPLYIN' TO THIS?

  • Soooo i can vote?

  • voted for A

  • Sure.. Only apple users you can vote on... No honoreable mention for the Windows users... :(

  • @RVOFoto anyone can vote!!!

  • @JaredPolin Yeah indeed. But the screenflows which you can vote on, are only Apple users.. I partly understand that because you give away Screenflow which is only availble to Apple, but no honorable mention for the Windows guys who tried their best to do a Edit ;)

  • @RVOFoto yes, everyone did a great job.

  • Love the hat!

  • Love this video! A reply would make my day Jared!
