Silverwing45: Aang is Frodo because they are both the main characters. They both have destiny issues, and they both have major tasks to do. Frodo has to destroy the ring to save the world; Aang has to kill the Fire Lord to save the world. And who would you suggest to be Gimli and Legolas? I think they fit perfectly fine.
