I was at the Dominion gig in 1982. Even though I don't really go for that kind of music any more, it was still an awesome experience. Part of it the experience was seeing the three members each on their own, surrounded by their electronics, in a big stage, but still producing this texture together. Musically, visually and in every way, this is a mess. And I don't agree that it is just the singer who spoils it, TD's music of the last 15 or more years just sucks.

Honestly I do think Tangerine dream is the essential electronic sublime music group, both the vocalist adds a new depth to the experience since they coved most spectrems so I think it is cool honestly

Can't help but agree with you. Went to the concert (seen them 10 times before over past 25 years from Ricochet tour onwards) and this was dire....please don't call it Tangerine Dream, even although Mr Froese is there

terribly sad - there earliy albums and even some later ones were superb minimal electronica , superb sounds and moodd- cheesy now but good - this is just terrible though . . . eggard lost the plot i think and his ego or something ,its just all self faltury and falsness . . .their early stuff was pure ' persona less creativity ' and sonic space.For me tg died after underwater sunlight album . . .
