I don't agree with your review. I think its definitely your provider. My provider is ATT, in the USA. I don't have an unlocked fone which really causes one to make the analysis you've made. My phone is quick, great graffics. I have fat thumbs and its still perfect to type. You seem to be judging the phone based on Apps and games. The 9900 is for adults. For apps and games, try the more childish phones like the iPhone.

Good review - I just bought one of these and returned it immediately. The battery life itself is absolutely horrendous.

I find that this Blackberry bold 9900 will be going out of style and more phones will come in the market with better options but what will not be good is being stuck in a CONTRACT for a long period. Phones can get ruined or lost before the time of Eligibility but people can't wait because they would need a phone. I notice that you don't really like some of the "flaws" in the new BB7 OS. You will really hate the older versions of blackberry, because BB7 makes them look pretty shitty, believe it or not. For me, being used to older blackberry versions, this new OS and the BOLD 9900 are quite good for me.

iphones are for apps, this phone is more of like your everyday to emails, web browsing etc... this is by far the best rim has ever made. i love it a lot. apple on the other hand for me is not a phone but a toy phone, so i sold it got really bored with it. bought bb 9900 and ipad2 that will solve the problem hahahaha.

Great review, I have the Torch and its even worse than this. I've just thinking its a shame this phone been in the same price range as the iPhone 4s, or Samsung Galaxy II, I mean, what its RIM smoking?. This phone is at least 1 year outdated. @Ciabo69 Having used the browser, I found it ultra frustrating. The battery on the 4S IS awful but it's just a software bug relating to how often it pings the time servers, it will be fixed in the next update. As for the other features, all of the other phones can do instant messaging on non-propitiatory platforms. Why would I want to limit my contacts list only to people who have BBM? Also no official Skype app if you're not in the USA and on Verizon? Sucks.

I have to say if you want a good app phone, don't get a BlackBerry. I'm one of those people who don't need apps to survive, I have had BlackBerries for a while and I like them. I don't know because you won your phone or whatever, if yours might have a problem with it, every other video of these phones I have seen shows them to be very responsive, I've never seen the clock thing before, yours is the only video so far that I've seen any real problems in, other reviews I've seen like the phone.

@Ciabo69 Keyboard is great for sure, Browser is okay but not as good as iOS or Android, App World is getting better but it's still not good, the battery on this phone is awful but i've heard they're good in general on blackberrys, signal seems strong so i'll give you that, the speaker is nothing to write home about.

@CyberAlyMan the browser improvement in OS 7 is as good as iOS, go check any review, app world is fucking awesome now, its not as good as app store but its getting better and better everytime, battery on iPhone 4S is awful, probably the 9900 doesnt have that good battery but grab any other, including any OS 7 devices like curve 9360 or torch 9860/9810 signal is awesome, phone quality and speakers too, instant messaging also.... Desing, message/email system, and i can extend

@Ciabo69 Having used the browser, I found it ultra frustrating. The battery on the 4S IS awful but it's just a software bug relating to how often it pings the time servers, it will be fixed in the next update. As for the other features, all of the other phones can do instant messaging on non-propitiatory platforms. Why would I want to limit my contacts list only to people who have BBM? Also no official Skype app if you're not in the USA and on Verizon? Sucks.

Looking at your profile, seems that you play CoD the whole time and play spend the rest of your time playing other people's songs on your guitar. Probably not true, but that's all I can gather from your profile, and there seems to be a trend of making a complete biography of somebody from one or two videos they made, so i'll join the crowd.

I have to say if you want a good app phone, don't get a BlackBerry. I'm one of those people who don't need apps to survive, I have had BlackBerries for a while and I like them. I don't know because you won your phone or whatever, if yours might have a problem with it, every other video of these phones I have seen shows them to be very responsive, I've never seen the clock thing before, yours is the only video so far that I've seen any real problems in, other reviews I've seen like the phone.

@DeepFriedFuzzball Yeah that's one of the reasons I kept it, because everybody else seemed to like it, but I honestly can't see why anybody would. I'm not being biased either, i'm no Apple or Android fanboy, I just looked at the user experience and weather it met my needs, and it didn't impress me on either of those points.
The hunt for the perfect phone goes on.
