In a real fight, you don't think what punch to throw or what steps to perform. You simply react instinctively and that can be honed through realistic trainings. Have you fought in the streets? If your answer is no, don't bother talking about survival techniques.

Mae Mai is not a style but rather a part of any MB style containing "major techniques"... Tony Jaa has had a lot of teachers, mainly he does Korat and his own acrobacy but also some Chaiya techniques...

well, panom yeerum (tony) is classically trained gymnast who also cross trains in a myriad of other martial arts to complement his on screen versatility. although his base arts are krabi krabong and muay boran he mixes in a bit of capoeira & wushu for flair.
